It's Scottish Cup week, but it could be a familiar outcome when COVE RANGERS meet Stirling Albion at Forthbank.

The sides should know each other well because they met last week in League One in Aberdeen and it was a comfortable stroll for Paul Hartley's team.

And Cove should be backed at evens to do it again against a Binos side who have been toiling recently.

Albion started the season surprisingly well since their promotion, but five defeats in a row in all competitions suggest the novelty value has worn off.

Cove, on the other hand, look like they are going in the opposite direction. That 3-1 win at the Balmoral Stadium was their sixth win in a row in League One and they should be able to maintain the recent form when they travel to a Stirling side who must be at a low ebb.

It wasn't so long ago that BONNYRIGG ROSE were struggling minnows and Albion Rovers were the Scottish League club with a long, proud history.

But the tide has turned and the League Two side look a surprisingly decent price at 17/20 to get the better of Rovers at Cliftonhill.

Rose had been in disappointing form recently, but bounced back in style with a thumping midweek win over East Fife at New Dundas Park.

They needed extra time to win at Fraserburgh in the last round and that was a decent result for them at a tricky venue.

Albion Rovers lost their league status last season and they've found the Lowland League a tough proposition as all the relegated sides seem to do. They sit in a lowly 12th spot although they do have games in hand.

They struggled to see off St Andrew's in the last round at home and Bonnyrigg should have too much for them.

DUMBARTON could also be a spot of value at 7/4 to win at Annan Athletic.

They were in the same league last year and Annan took advantage of Dumbarton's horrendous late-season collapse by hammering them 6-0 in the play-offs semi-finals at Galabank.

But a lot has changed since then and Annan hasn't won in seven games and this season looks to be a struggle.

In contrast, Dumbarton have now six games out of their last seven and will be fired out for revenge.

RECOMMENDATIONS
COVE RANGERS evens
BONNYRIGG ROSE 17/20
DUMBARTON 7/4.
