THE only online bookie that lists SPFL and first-scorer prices for every game are McBookie.
McBookie's Damian Walker is back with his first-scorer tips and he's also challenging punters to pick their own.
Every week one person with a correct prediction will be chosen at random to win a £10 bet – and if you backed your tip with McBookie with at least a fiver they'll double the prize to £20.
You can comment with your pick here and give any reasoning but to enter the contest you have to email mrfixit@dailyrecord.co.uk.
Quote player's club and first-scorer price with McBookie – Scottish games only – for a chance to win. There were no winners last week.
Here is Damian with this weekend's selections. He says:
“Motherwell were very impressive in the League Cup but have started the league campaign quite poorly. Having said that I think they have a great opportunity to get their first win of the season against Hamilton in the Lanarkshire Derby.
“The Steelmen can be backed at odds against and James Scott can celebrate his recent Scotland Under-21 call-up with the first goal at odds of 9-2.
“Dundee were really unlucky not to beat Aberdeen in the League Cup last weekend but the league is their No.1 priority and a similar performance against Inverness CT should be enough for them to pick up three points.
“They have some good options up front and it will be interesting to see if Kane Hemmings is fit to start. Even if he does start it looks like he will be paired with Danny Johnson and with the ex-Motherwell striker on penalties he is worth the bet at 4-1.
“Finally, I am backing Albion Rovers to add more pain to Brechin City at 11-10. Barry Smith has left his post at Brechin and they look in all sorts of bother.
“Rovers haven’t been struggling for goals this season – it is at the back where their problems are – and Euan East looks a huge danger at this level. I will be backing him at 13-2.
