FC Koln, meanwhile, lost each of their opening three fixtures of the season before battling to a hard-fought 1-1 draw at home to Frankfurt last Sunday.

However, Markus Gisdol's men are now wineless in 14 German top-flight tussles and they have failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last 15 Bundesliga bouts.

With that in mind, in-form Stuttgart will attract plenty of attention on Friday night at quotes of Even-Money, however, I'm going to opt for an alternative angle when making use of Bet 365‘s Bet Builder feature with the view to getting the hosts onside.

The combination that I'm going to pull together to present us with a backable 4/5 punt is Stuttgart double chance, over one match goal, over five match corners and Koln to collect at least one card.

Eight of the Billy Goats last 10 Bundesliga road trips have generated three or more goals, while three of Stuttgart's opening four games of the season have produced over 2.5 strikes.

When digging slightly deeper it can be seen that 14 of Koln's last 15 league matches have seen both teams oblige, so an action-packed night is anticipated at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

It's also worth noting that Stuttgart have avoided defeat in six of their last eight Bundesliga home matches and with that in mind, I'm more than happy to back Die Roten to avoid defeat when they come up against confidence-stricken Cologne.

What's more, the above-mentioned Bet Builder would have banked profit in each of Stuttgart's last three outings and I see no reason to oppose a repeat on Friday night.
