EVERYONE knows the Super Single is my main bet so while it was a good night I won't claim it to be a great one.
Ross County let the side down big time but the Top Treble won at 6-4 and in fact all my picks – Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Aberdeen were victorious by four goals.
My goals line produced three out of four for a profit for those who did the advised trebles. Werder Bremen's failure to score beat for a 17-2 fourfold.
What I was more pleased about was my shouts on the League Cup games and that was down to checking team news for every game. What I read put me off backing Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton as well as Norwich. I made a nice profit from singles but couldn't tip them as I needed to see line-ups before taking them.
I plan to do the same in the morning before putting up my Wednesday top tips. For the Daily Record I've looked at the League Cup games in Scotland and
The big game is Celtic v Hearts and Ronny Deila says he's putting out a full-strength team. If that's the case his side should be too good for the Championship leaders who have been a breath of fresh air this season.
Hearts have lost their last five league visits there, including 5-1 and 4-1 losses.
Celtic are no bigger than 3-10 with Coral to win and it's worth putting them on an accumulator. The draw pays 5-1 at bet365 while Hearts are as big as 11-1 with boylesports.
The other two ties are derbies so all four clubs will play full-strength sides. Dundee Utd and Dundee meet at Tannadice just three days after a 4-1 win for the Arabs at Dens.
I tipped goals and cards in that one, including a red at 5-2, and it could be fiery again.
United are now unbeaten in seven derbies going back to 2004 and are a best 5-6 with bet365 to win and it's difficult to see past them. Dundee are 4-1 with Coral and the draw returns 13-5 at boylesports.
Hamilton tackle Motherwell at New Douglas Park and it could be a draw at 12-5 with bet365.
In England the big ties see Chelsea face Bolton, Man City entertain Sheffield Wednesday, Palace tackle Newcastle and Spurs host Nottm Forest. Chelsea, Man City and Spurs will make changes for sure so it's worth checking out their line-ups.
It's a busy night on the continent and most of my top tips come from there. Reasoning for most on the selections will be on a separate preview.
The Super Single is Barcelona -1 at Malaga and the Top Treble is Fiorentina at home to Sassuolo, Dortmund at home to Stuttgart and Granada at home to Levante. Granada are the riskiest and best price but anyone who doesn't like them can consider the likes of Inter, Leverkusen, Dundee Utd or even Celtic.
Dortmund have injury problems but Stuttgart are really struggling and again if the home doesn't tempt you here substitute for one of the others or even PSG, who should beat Caen away without Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Dundee haven’t won a competitive league game against United in 3,608 days. The last time they beat us was a 1-0 victory on 6 November 2004.
Going back to 2012, United have won 4 and drawn 1 against Dundee. 3 of these (the most recent games) have had both teams score.
I was going to put down each team’s form here but I don’t see much point in that because Dundee have had a good season and were unbeaten up until Sunday when we showed them how to play football.
My honest opinion is that Dundee United will win. If you want to keep things safe a straight win or -1 is the bet for you. We weren’t at our best on Sunday and we still beat them 4-1. Everywhere on the pitch we matched the perfectly tactically and stopped anything they tried. United are 4/5 with William Hill.

Amazingly the btts double is exactly what I have written down, was going to post today after a long late night at work. Hopefully we have a winner but after yesterday with Werder I am not sure wether to go over 2.5 or btts, I chose incorrectly yesterday which cost me two doubles and a treble.
Stats wise it should be no problem Mark :). I really thought Werder would nick a goal. Frustrating to see the other Bundesliga games were already BTTS at half time.

Tottenham boss Mauricio is set to make a host of changes for tonight’s game with expected Soldado starting upfront.

Even the idea of dividing a teams first half corners by the second half total is a preposterous bet. The stake wasn’t meager either. I will try to get it voided as hearts scored 5 corners

To the bloke that had took multi corners , I do multi corners all the time , its first half corners multiplied by second half corners , not divide. You multiply so if hearts got say 2 in first half and 2 in second , the result would be 4. 2×2. I bet hearts over 1.5 so your on a winner.
