ONE of the toughest fixtures to predict these days is Rangers v Aberdeen.
Despite the Ibrox side's woes they have won four out of five against the Dons including back-to-back victories under Graeme Murty when he was caretaker boss.
Those results in the space of four days were unexpected and came when Derek McInnes was being linked with the Ibrox hotseat – a job he eventually turned down.
McInnes will be desperate for revenge in tonight's Premiership clash and his side played well to beat St Mirren in the Scottish Cup on the return from their winter break in Dubai.
Rangers won two games away in Florida and have made decent signings in the shape of Jamie Murphy, Jason Cummings, Sean Goss and Russell Martin while bringing back Michael O'Halloran and Halliday and it looks like Greg Docherty will be on his way from Hamilton too.
It will be interesting to see what team Murty puts out and until that's revealed picking a winner or scorers isn't easy. Aberdeen have sold Scotland midfielder Kenny McLean to Norwich but he's returned on loan until the end of the season.
Gers are a best 10-11 with McBookie while the Dons are 17-5 with Marathonbet and the draw pays 13-5 at McBookie.
The last six meetings between the sides have gone over 2.5 goals and that looks a good shout at 11-10 with Marathonbet. Both teams to score pays 10-11 at William Hill.
Rangers netted five times in those two wins in five days and are evens with McBookie to score 2+.
Elsewhere I like Hearts at Hamilton after their derby boost and seven clean sheets in a row.The Jambos have kept seven clean sheets in a row under Craig Levein and will be boosted by beating Hibs in the Cup.
Hearts are 31-25 at Marathonbet and 13-5 at Paddy Power to win to nil but Accies were the last team to breach the Jambos defence and Craig Levein's men have a doubt over new signing Steven Naismith
Motherwell have beaten basement boys Ross County three times this season and are 11-10 at William Hill to make it a fourth at Fir Park. County have signed former Liverpool striker David Ngog and he could feature at some point.
Both meetings between Dundee and Hibs this season have seen both score and that's the shout again at 19-20 with bet365. Hibs have been struggling of late and boss Neil Lennon is set to give striker Anthony Stokes another chance after he broke a curfew on their recent winter break in Portugal.
