DUNDEE have yet to catch fire this season in the Championship, but the title favourites should have too much for Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park.
Gary Bowyers's side swept aside Accies in the League Cup at the start of the season but John Rankin has done better with Hamilton than many predicted and they've picked up a few good points, mostly through draws.
However, they still look suspect at the back and have lost two of their last three home games 2-0.
Fifth place for Dundee at this stage looks poor, but it's hard to believe they won't be up there come the end of the season. Their squad still looks arguably the best equipped in the league.
They've struggled away from Dens Park, but would have gained plenty of confidence with an impressive win at The New Saints last week in the Challenge Cup. And evens looks a fair price for them.
STIRLING ALBION have lashed in four goals in each of their last two matches and look a cracking bet to continue their recent good form with a win at struggling East Fife at 19./10.
Darren Young's side have been blowing hot and cold up until recently, but seem to have learned to take their chances with those thumping wins against Stranraer and away at Forfar Atheltic last week.
Dale Carrick is a proven scorer at lower league level and already has eight goals for the season including a goal in both of those wins.
They look well-equipped to mount a promotion charge and the Methil side have been struggling even before the loss of manager Stevie Crawford to go to Dundee United as No.2.
They are reportedly after former player Scott Agnew to take charge, but he will have his work cut out after a poor run of just two draws in their last five games.
And with Young out to prove a point after being sacked by East Fife last year, the Binos can get the win at a big price.
DUMBARTON are also evens to win at Forfar Athletic and the runaway League Two leaders can bounce back from a shock defeat at Stranraer.
The Sons had previously won all seven league games, but surprisingly came unstuck at Stair Park.
But they are up against a Forfar side where all looks far from well following a desperate run of five defeats in their last six games.
Predictions
- DUNDEE evens
- STIRLING ALBION 19/10.
- DUMBARTON evens.
