THERE is one constant in Rangers games and we should see more goals when Scottish Premiership action resumes on Friday night.

Pedro Caixinha takes his troops to St Johnstone looking to continue their improvement in form and it could be fiery after the pre-match mud slinging.

Stats point to a Rangers win with both scoring and pays 12-5 at William Hill.

Gers are unbeaten in nine away, winning six, but have kept just two clean sheets on that run.

Both teams have scored in five of their last six and pays 17-20 with Marathonbet although Saints will be weakened by the absence of five-goal Michael O'Halloran who can't face his parent club.

The teams have identical records this season except Rangers have netted four more. Both have won four, drawn two, lost two, conceded 11 and have 14 points.

Saints have been against the Ibrox men though, winning three of 28 in the league – all away – with no home success since 2010.

Rangers are 3-5 with McBookie to win with Saints 5-1 at Marathonbet and the draw 16-5 at McBookie.

Last time out they were dire in losing 3-0 at Aberdeen but boss Tommy Wright will have been on their case and is bound to get a reaction.

Without O'Halloran Saints will look to Steven MacLean for a goal and he'll be keen to strike following his verbal spat with Caixinha. The players who started his career at Ibrox is 3-1 at bet365 to net at any time.

Alfredo Morelos has failed to net in three after a sparkling start and is 11-10 at Ladbrokes to return to scoring form.

Daniel Candeias has netted in Rangers' last two away games and is 7-2 with bet365 to score again. There is a chance Kenny Miller could return and he is 5-1 at McBookie to break the deadlock.

In five of seven matches this season ref Don Robertson has shown three or four yellows. Skybet offer 7-4 for 25-45 card points (10 yellow).
