The league flag will be unfurled at Celtic Park ahead of Brendan Rodgers first match of his second spell in charge of the Hoops.
Ross County are the visitors and could be lambs to the slaughter. Celtic’s last five flag days have resulted in 2-0, 5-1, 7-0, 3-1 and 4-1 wins and it could be another gala day for the Bhoys although Over 2.5 goals for Rodgers’ men pays a measly 1/2.
It should be a comfortable win but it could pay to turn to corners once more with Celtic at 13/10 to win over four in the first half. They might miss some natural width with Jota gone and Maeda suspended but it’s a game in which they’ll dominate possession and have plenty of shots so that looks worth a punt.
Aberdeen were transformed under Barry Robson who guided them to a third place finish when bottom six was staring them in the face mid-January.
If they’re to repeat that kind of performance they need to be winning games at the likes of Livingston who operate with one of, if not the, lowest budgets in the top flight.
It could be a stuffy one for the Dons but they’re very tempting at 6/4.
Hearts should also get their campaign off to a winning start at St Johnstone.
The Saints have had a shocker of a start in the Viaplay Cup and it could be a long season for the McDiarmid Park side.
Confusion reigns over the management hierarchy at Hearts but they’ve more than enough quality for another top four finish, starting with a win in Perth at 6/5.
In the Championship Dundee Utd got their campaign off to a flyer with a 4-0 win over Arbroath at even money.
Stirling Albion could be dark horses in League One. Darren Young’s side finished like a train to gain promotion from League Two last season and could give a few sides a bloody nose this term.
They produced the most eye-catching result of the Viaplay Cup group stages; a 4-0 win at St Johnstone, and looked worth backing at even money to beat an Edinburgh City side who lost all four group games in the cup with the concession of 14 goals in the process.
Money has come for Stirling since earlier in the week however which has seen them shift from 1/1 to 3/4. Over 1.5 goals for the Binos pays 8/11.
There’s also been some money for newly promoted Spartans in League Two who host Clyde in their first ever match at this level. The Lowland League winners are 4/7 to start with a win and that’s more than likely against the Bully Wee who have struggled to fill their bench in League Cup matches.
East Fife (3/4) are the other odds-on side in the bottom division up against a Peterhead side who don’t look to have improved much on last season’s shambles.
Middlesbrough look one of the stand-out bets in England this afternoon. Michael Carrick has made an impressive start to his managerial but Boro fell short of promotion in the play-offs. They can get this season's attempt at a return to the top flight off to a winning start at home to Milwall where they're handily priced at 19/20.
Late Goals
Posted earlier was a piece on changes to the directives for referess this season whereby we'll see more added time at the end of each half. That could mean a few extra minutes for goals to scored, cards to be brandished or corners to be taken.
So let's see if we can kick-off the season with a treble of late goals.

Hi MFT Community, hope alls well. Ive been made aware about a few comments on the website lately so for the very small percentage & I mean very small minority ,I’ll go through the script with you once again. I have not betrayed or left this amazing MFT website I’m still part of the community, I’m also a grateful member & I still write FREE previews & provide FREE tips. So to say I only used MFT as a platform to move on & make lots of £££ is absolutely bizarre , ridiculous & unfounded, Also I don’t care about my followers or members & it’s only the money, who are you people ?? really ??. Im very passionate about my work & I put long hours of research & homework into my previous/ tips every week to help everyone,, even more so now that I have my Telegram channel. Here’s one of hundreds of story’s I could share with you , during lockdown one my followers from the USA put $20 on my tip that week Stewart Cink at 150/1 to win the RBC Heritage. He was down to the bare minimums & he had been struggling to feed his family of five..He won over $3000 that weekend & said thanks Caddy , you just fed my family for the next 6 months ,, what can I do for you ? I said absolutely nothing my friend, envoi it & Im just so happy & glad I could help. Honestly I broke down in tears , I had many many more messages that weekend & throughout the years with people full of gratitude for all the winners I’ve delivered & the boost it’s gave hundreds if not thousands.
My new channel is a choice , it’s like A,B,C, 1,2,3 , Yes/No , it’s not rocket science, it’s simply a choice but it’s one that my members I’m sure will tell you has been a wise choice .My hours & hours of hard work have paid off already with six outright winners in just a couple of months including Brian Harman to win The Open tipped at 110/1. Honestly the betting slips I was sent by members just a fortnight ago add up in the tens of thousands. Can I finish by saying this is not a website for haters or for people to pollute the community with verbal nonsense, Its to share tip’s & information & just to keep in touch & be there for each other. Yes everyone’s entitled to their opinion but sometimes it’s just best to keep you opinions to yourself & be respectful of your surroundings, in this case the wonderful MFT forum & community .You’ll all be buzzing just as I am for the new football season, Good luck with your football tips for this season & beyond .I’ll be keeping an eye on all your tips as always. Keep up the amazing work MFT comrades. I’ll be back with tips/previews for the next DP World Tour event on the 17th August for the ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle Until then Take care & thank you all for your continued support 🙏.⛳️
It’s a case of some people are attention seeking, only they know why they do it!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and whether it’s best or not it’s up to them and nobody else to decide . Yeah I’m a bit miffed that you’ve started to charge for tips being honest and it looks like you are now charging for the best ones. The reason I got involved in this brilliant site is because we all shared free and thought that was great not pick and choose. I appreciate you put a lot of effort and time into it tonight and at the end of the day it your choice 👍
ATP Washington + ATP Los Cabos – Start time around 02:30am
Tiafoe to beat Evans x De Minaur to beat Koepfer 1.78, Pinnacle (NAP)
Tiafoe is the better player in much better form. Should win this in straight sets. Same situation for De Minaur really. Koepfer won’t be able to power through the immense defences of De Minaur.
ATP Washington – Start time around 02:30am
Evans v Tiafoe – Tiafoe over 2.5 Breaks of serve 1.80 Bet365 (NB)
With the form of Evans this season Tiafoe has to be a very strong favourite in this. Evans would have to serve lights out along with a poor returning day from Tiafoe for this not to come in. Shevchenko also had the same line as this in the previous Evans match and he was an underdog which I can’t get my ahead around. Should be set at 3.5 minimum given Tiafoe is the better player with the better form.
Best of luck all
@TheCaddy
Your tips for the Open on this website were McIlroy, Fowler and Koepka!
Why are you trying to pass off 110/1 Harman as one of your tips! I read your write up!
FYI ,this is one of the specials available for Telegram members & here’s an exact word for word example just as it appeared on the channel & BTW this is not an advertisement, I’m simply just answering your Question , hope this helps⛳️
🚨 100/1 + Winner 🏆
Brian Harman 110/1 1pt EW Bet365 1-8 places
In my book this price beggars belief for a player who’s ranked 26th best on the planet.
Last weekend at The Renaissance Club Harman finished T12th & you all probably seen the testing conditions.
Prior to the Scottish Open the American finished T9th at the Rocket Mortgage Classic & joint runner up at the Travelers Championship.
Last year at St Andrews on The Old Course amidst more tricky conditions,Harman was in the mix yet again finishing T6th so this week at Royal Liverpool won’t phase him in the slightest.
He’s a big hitter with a good short game & putting averages so I’m absolutely bewildered why he’s as much as 110/1 with a few of the firms.
Instead of the 0.5 pts EW I’m going to up the stakes this week for the 100/1 + Winner to a full point EW as I just feel this price is way exaggerated & could have the bookies running for cover all weekend.⛳️
Correct Marty67….He did post those 3 golfers, his Harman pick was for his paid members,—–》》》》》 and this is for Caddy,,,, why say you are still giving out free tips when you have not been seen here for past 3 weeks??? Your wee story about the guy betting $20 cos he was on his bare arse but now feeding his family ??? Dont make me laugh…Yer tips were good to begin with, got gradually worse as time went on.Just admit when you win at large odds, you big yourself up,but when theres no wins, you go quiet.Enjoy the congrats from yer paying clients, hope you dont fall over with all that self belief !!!!!!!
Alot of people go into hiding when they lose but when they win they certainly let you know about it, really comical but also unfortunately very sad to feel that way in life👎
Ignore the noise on here we have far more good than bad since Paul set this up and his legacy continues to flourish it takes time from the good members to be brave and put up his well researched Tips.

Does anybody use soccerway? I’ve used it for years and always used the ‘form’ table in leagues. For weeks now when I select the form table for a league it doesn’t appear it just disappears. Has anybody else had same issue?
No i use Stats dont lie or Flashscore.
Middlesbrough fan here
I hope I’m wrong but just wanting to give my take on Middlesbrough at the min as I’ve seen a few people put them in their bets. We’ve not replaced a striker yet this season and are going to play a wide man up front. We’ve not replaced Giles at left back yet either which had the most assists in the league and are playing a guy we loaned out last season to the Scottish leagues. Akpom who scored 29 goals last season is injured and so is our captain Jonny howson. Add to all that that we’ve only won 1 of our last 12 opening league fixtures then I would avoid us today. I hope I’m wrong and you all spank the bookies but I thought it’s only fair I give my opinion before the game. GL with your bets today everyone
Thanks for the info, I,m on your squad to get a top 6 slot primarily on the strength of how well your manager transformed your squad when he arrived last season..
Even tho they may only have 1 of their previous 12 opening games , it,s what they do in the next one that matters.
All the best for the forthcoming season, let’s hope they make the frame at the very least…
Been a dreadful week with so many strange results. From someone losing a 6-4 5-0 lead to players winning who have barely won matches all season. Thankfully there are still 27 days left of the month to try and turn it around. Just got to accept days and weeks happen like this and it’s just part of the game. Hopefully back to profit again today & apologies if anyone has been following this week.

What you think of a guaff/tsitsipas double @1.2/1
Both difficult matches to call. Gauff was exceptional in her last match against the in form Bencic and defending champion Samsonova has come right back into form this tournament and has yet to drop a set. Gauff has won both head to head matches although each time in 3 sets. So likely to be a battle again. It is effectively likely to boil down to how many winners Samsonova can achieve vs the very good defence or Gauff. If Samsonova is hitting the ball well it will be hard for Gauff. But if she can get balls back and frustrate Samsonova then she will likely start to hit errors. I would favour Gauff in this slightly..
As for Tsitsipas he has a crazy head to head over De Minaur 11-0 which is quite surprising. Only ever lost 3 sets to him as well. That is quite the advantage! These courts are very slow though and with the movement of De Minaur it should be closer than recent contests. Based on the previous matches though you would have to side with Tsitsipas.
Thanks for the reply, 1 part of the double in just waiting on tsitsipas.
Good luck. Think I will have a selection on that match as well.

Not going for the SS on here today just think over 4 corners in the 1st half is too much. Celtic only got 4 total in the cup final and were in Inverness half most of the game. Thats 5 things that need to happen and with JOTA and MAEDA not there its even harder.
Maeda plays not suspended at all.
Good morning everyone
I hope we’ve all had a good summer. I’ve benefited from a few of the tennis tips on here lately.
My team Altrincham have had a good close season and strengthened the team. I was still worried but in the last couple of weeks we’ve brought a goalie in on loan from Stockport who looks the business.
Last season was our first as a professional outfit and we settled in well.We will suprise teams this season and I’ve had a few quid on us to finish top 7 so hopefully we will begin with a win at home today.

So if the Harman tip was on the telegram group, what good is that to anyone on here who isn’t on the telegram group who followed your tips on here?
I’d be pretty annoyed if I followed your three picks thinking that was your three selections only to find out you’d tipped others elsewhere.
I’d usually look at your tips for the bigger golf tournaments but this would put me off as I wouldn’t be getting the full picture.
He’s putting his name and reputation on each tip he makes so whether it’s 1 of 5 of his tips that you see it’s still a reputable tip?! 🤷♀️
Spot on 👍
I step carefully for the first few weeks of the season so gone with an acca adapted from in and around the site
Celtic over 3 first half corners
Falkirk over 1.5 team goals
Grimsby to win
Wrexham v MK Dons over 2.5mg
Barnsley over 1.5 team goals
Acca boosted by William Hill to a shade over 19/1
For anybody who is interested my long range bets this season
Middlesbrough top 6
Barnsley top 6
Wrexham top 3
Chesterfield top 3 acca which weighs in at 25/2
and added the above each way win – the win section @ 1550/1
I think Harry Kane will leave this week so taking Spurs to finish in the top four out of my ANTE-POST bets, without him and his goals it’s a big ask. Replacing that one with this.
Ipswich Town top 6 finish in the Championship at 12/5.
Best of luck
Five cards in the first half of Sheff Wed v Southampton last night. Eight cards in total. 3 of those 8 would not have been given last season. 15 mins in total of added time.
New rules being applied for now at least. Could be worth having flat stakes on some of the higher card lines across the EFL for the first few weeks of the season.
I watched the game and thought it was absolutely comical, where did they get the 6 mins added time in the first half, the 9 mins at the end where did they get that from. Players just kicking the ball a couple of feet when the ref has blown his whistle= yellow card. I can see bookies tightening up on their card prices, might be worth backing each goalkeeper to be booked in the live games until they come to their senses.
A day to tread carefully folks when it is easy to get caught up in first day of the season fever and go daft.
Footie acca isn’t my main bet of the day, but for what it’s worth, going on what form we have, I’m on Aberdeen, Hearts and QOS in a treble. My main bet however is in the rugby.
Scotland have named a full strength side against what’s mostly a team of French guys fighting for third or second places in their squads
Scotland obviously want to rock up to the World Cup with their first XV already bloodied and I think it’s scotland by at least more than a score.
Elsewhere I think NZ will thump Australia, England beat Wales narrowly and reckon Ireland beat Italy.
Darcy Graham is on fire and I fancy him to score a try in a Scottish win but at bigger odds a punt on Ewan Ashman at hooker as it’s a warm up game so Scotland will kick to the corner more often to practice their lineout and maul.
You’d expect the Scotland starting pack mauling against a French scratch team to have some success and Ewan Ashman is a very powerful carrier from the back of the lineout too.
Best of luck if you follow.

Stirling v Annan
Edinburgh City conceded 4,3,2,5 in their league Cup games. 14 goals in 4 games is some going. Over 3 a game.
Stirling come into this on bavk of hitting St Johnstone for 4 last week. Stirling had good wins v Stenhousemuir and Annan in Cup too. Scoring 2 each time.
Stirling won the last meeting here 5 0
Falkirk v Annan
Falkirk hit 8 goals in league Cup group including 4 last week. Annan seem to have forgot how to defend, conceding 3,2,4,3 in the cup.
Stirling Over 1.5 goals
Falkirk Over 1.5 goals
Pays 2.5
Looks solid
Agree on Falkirk, .doubled them up with over 8.5 corners in Dundee United game last night..( game ended with 16 corners .lol..)..
Will pay 1.08 if it lands..
Strongly fancy Falkirk to lift the pot this year at 9/4..

The amount of entitled posters in here is frightening. Upset because they are not getting free tips anymore.
Its not a rocket science….if you dont want to pay for the tips from people then just do your own bets or use the free tips that are available and leave the man child tears out
Oh come on Smokey, you secretly love all the drama really 👍😉
Never bought a tip in ma life use your own nut. If winning was easy enough like buying a bet then every body would be doing it. I watch ITV racing a lot and the pundits on there hardly tip a winner !
Chris I get enough daily drama with an 8 month old American Akita weighing in at 37kg running me ragged 😂
Chelsea i couldnt tell you the last time i bet anything other than what i pick myself
@sasa, Rangers newbies may be untested, but their experienced refs will more than make up for that ;-)
John Lundstrum carded for Rangers 16/5. He likes a card so does Barisc and Goldson may do a wee treb but defo on John.
Kilmarnock vs Rangers
Rugby park is a difficult place to go at the best of times, and although i think rangers recruitment in the forward areas has been good there’s still a lot of players to gel together and their back line still gives me the fear. In each friendly the opposition found all kinds of success with simple balls over the top. Goldson being back in defence is a big plus, but he has been injured for most of pre season and I can’t imagine he’ll be fully up to speed. From Rangers past 15 visits to Kilmarnock the home side have only failed to score on 3 occasions stretching back a long period of time.
With Willie Collum in charge there shouldn’t be a shortage of cards. One of those I fancy is Kieran Dowell at decent odds. After watching him in pre season, he isn’t afraid to stick a tackle in & operates all over the middle of the park offensively and defensively. I just have a feeling he might see a few cards this season, and after pointing out Cantwell early doors when he came in last season which worked out well, my gut says Dowell might just pick a fair few up too when he starts.
BTTS & each team 1+ card @ 21/20 (bet365)

Dowell to be carded @ 7/2 (bet365)
Good luck 🤞

Unless I’m missing something I really don’t get where your units come from?you made 15 units profit from Nott’s County btts and over, lost 7units combined on other two bets on that game so made profit of 8 units so added to above post of 38 units is 46 units so why stating 67 units🤷
Thought you had a sure fire nag for us? 😊
I believe it’s called “fantasy football”, Love It 😉
Well Scotland held on to win the rugby match and Darcy dotted down for a try, all good. Aberdeen let down the footie bet, hopeless by all accounts.
Ryan Jack to be carded? He likes kicking things and if its the ball its a bonus

No matter how many units you have betting like you do is ridiculous, you only have to ask the likes of Paul Merson who had plenty of units to burn, betting like you do is not enjoyable, yes it’s a buzz when it wins but sure isn’t when it loses, bookies feed on our greed, far to many factors to win consistently no matter how good you think you are!
BTTS & each team 1+ card @ 21/20 (bet365)❌

Dowell to be carded @ 7/2 (bet365)❌
Awful from rangers, not even enough fight to receive a booking. Still reckon Dowell worth keeping an eye on bookings wise.
Well done if you got a winner today 👌
Some plays for the matches overnight in Washington and Mexico.
ATP Washington – Start around 2:30am
Dimitrov v Evans
I think this one could be a fascinating encounter. Both players will play plenty of slices and I can see quite a few long baseline exchanges. Evans will likely try to use similar tactics that worked so well against Tiafoe in coming to the net as often as possible. Evans has been poor for a number of months but seems to have come alive again this week and looks a completely different player. His performance last night against Tiafoe was exceptional. If he continues that level again then Dimitrov will be in for a real battle in this. The head to heads have also been very close over the years. My feeling is still leaning towards a Dimitrov victory but I can’t get past how good Evans was last night so will leave that market alone. However, a market that I do really like in this match up is Double Faults. Both of these players are susceptible to hitting a fair few, especially when under pressure. So I am going to have a small play on each hitting the over lines. I feel both have a great chance as long as the match stays relatively close.
Dimitrov Over 3.5 Double Faults 2.10, Bet365
Evans Over 2.5 Double Faults 1.83, Bet365 (NB)
ATP Los Cabos – Start 04:00am
Tsitsipas v De Minaur
The final that most were expecting when the draw was made. Both players have been playing well this week with the slight advantage in that aspect going towards Tsitsipas. However, the big factor in this is two things. Firstly the staggering head to head which Tsitsipas leads 8-0 in official matches. In those matches Tsitsipas has only lost 2/18 sets. In every single match he has also covered the -3.5 game line. The other thing is that De Minaur just doesn’t have the power to regularly punish the weakest part of Tsitsipas’ game, which his is backhand. The serve also favours Tsitsipas and he will likely get far more easy points in that area. Tsitsipas clearly loves this match up and I struggle to see why a different outcome will occur this time around.
Tsitsipas -3.5 Games 2.0, Unibet (NAP)
Best of luck all
