Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Leicester City to score 2+
Leicester signalled their intent for the new season by claiming the first piece of silverware at Wembley last week, overcoming champions Manchester City to claim the Community Shield.
Their home form wasn't great last season but they've a good opportunity to start with a win against a Wolves side who will be looking to find their feet under new boss Bruno Lage.
It's hard to know what to expect following the departure of Nuno Espírito Santo but they'll need to improve upon just 15 away goals last season.
Kelechi Iheanacho will be bouyant after scoring last week's winner and could help us to two or more Leicester goals alongside the irrepressible Jamie Vardy.
Hull City to score 2+
Hull made the step up to the Championship look easy with a 4-1 win away to Preston on the opening day of the Championship.
The Tigers came from behind to take all three points in some style, recording 16 shots in the process. Only Peterborough scored more in League One than Hull's 80 goals last season and they look to have picked up where they left off.
QPR started with a 1-1 draw against a well-drilled Millwall side then edged past Leyton Orient on penalties in the Carabao Cup in midweek, so Mark Warburton will feel there's more to come from his side.
BTTS looks a decent shout at 10/11 here but I'll side with the Tigers to notch two or more at a healthier 6/4.
Millwall v Blackburn – Both Teams to Score
Top striker Adam Armstrong may have left Ewood Park but that didn't hinder Blackburn Rovers on the opening weekend of the season. A 2-1 win over Swansea was a terrific start, backed up by a whopping 10 shots on target from 21 shots in total – the highest of the week by some margin.
As mentioned above, Millwall took a well-earned point at Loftus Road but will be looking to make their mark again at The Den in front of their own fans after a good 2-1 over Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
If Blackburn can produce another attacking performance in line with last week's they should be good for a goal, as should the Lions on their own turf.
Falkirk to score 2+
The Bairns have had a stuttering start to the season following a period of isolation for their squad but things seem to be heading in the right direction now.
An opening day draw at Cove Rangers was a welcome result considering their squad had hardly trained that week, then they followed it up with a more comfortable win over Peterhead than the 2-1 scoreline suggests.
Opponents Airdrie have shipped nine goals in their last three matches and aside from an impressive 2-0 win over Motherwell have made a poor start to the season.
Falkirk should be chasing promotion this season and to do so need to be winning games like this and may need to score twice to take the three points.
