Bookmaker bet365 has Ruud as a heavy favourite in this one, returning just 1/6 for the 25-year-old to move past Cobolli. His opponent is a big underdog at 4/1 to win, with set betting suggesting Ruud to win 2-1 at 16/5.

For Ruud, he’s sitting at an impressive 31-9, leading the ATP Tour for wins this season. He’ll have his eye on making the final here, where there’s a good chance he faces Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic and Ruud are slated to meet in the Roland-Garros quarter-finals, with the French Open draw being released on Thursday. The Geneva final could serve as a perfect dress rehearsal, with the winning taking a good deal of confidence into their potential meeting in 10 days’ time.
