Rangers remain in a state of flux under Philippe Clement and Aberdeen have the chance to turn up the heat on the Ibrox boss when they come calling in the SPFL Premiership.
Fed-up fans called for Clement to be axed after a 1-1 draw at Dundee last Thursday saw them fall 15 points behind Celtic in the title race. But new CEO Patrick Stewart publicly backed the Belgian at the weekend, which led to ultra groups staging a walkout in protest during Sunday's 3-1 win over St Johnstone.
Those supporters were booed by others at Ibrox when they headed for the exit, summing up the schizophrenic state of Rangers right now.
At times this season, Clement's side have turned on the style, most notably in a 3-0 derby win over Celtic and in European games against Nice and Tottenham Hotspur. But they've also dropped 20 points on the road in the Premiership, including a 2-1 loss at Aberdeen back in October.
At that point, the Dons were nine points ahead of Clement's side and pushing Celtic all the way at the top. However, Jimmy Thelin's side now trail Gers by nine points and have dropped down to fourth after a horror run that has seen them go 11 games without a win.
Thelin will start feeling the pressure himself if results don't improve but an Ibrox win would spark their season back to life.
How the bookies view it: More home comfort for Clement
Rangers have dropped just two points at Ibrox all season in the SPFL Premiership so it's no surprise to see them as BoyleSports 2/9 hot favourites. Aberdeen are 17/2 to end their long run without a win while the draw pays 5/1.
Head to head: Dons a thorn in the side
Aberdeen have got plenty of joy in this fixture in the last three seasons, with two wins a draw. They won 3-1 at Ibrox last term, bringing the axe down on Michael Beale, but lost 2-1 on their last visit.
Players to watch: Vac for more
Greg backed Vaclav Cerny for a goal on Sunday and the Czech winger delivered with his 12th goal of the season. He has been a key man for Clement this season and looks good again here at 6/4 with BoyleSports for anytime scorer.
Jeppe Okkels made his Aberdeen debut in Sunday's draw with Hearts after joining on loan from Preston. The winger will offer a new threat to Rangers and is 7/1 with Bet365 to grab his first Dons goal.
Probable line-ups
Rangers still have issues in defence, with James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, John Souttar and keeper Jack Butland missing the last four games.
Aberdeen gave debuts to Okkels and Kristers Tobers on Sunday and both should feature again. Key players Dimitar Mitov, Jack Milne, Gavin Molloy and Ester Sokler are set to miss out again with injuries.
Rangers: Kelly, Jefte, Propper, Nsiala, Yilmaz. Diomande, Raskin, Bajrami, Hagi, Cerny, Igamane.
Aberdeen: Doohan, Devlin, Tobers, Nilsen, McGarry, Shinnie, McGrath, Polvara, Keskinen, Okkels, Nisbet.
Anything else catch the eye?
Rangers' patched-up defence has kept just one clean sheet in six games and even rock-bottom St Johnstone managed to score at Ibrox on Sunday. So we should goals at both ends in this one and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays a decent 21/20 with BoyleSports.
With Clement's side so strong at home this season, I also like a Rangers win with BTTS, which pays a boosted 13/8 at BoyleSports.
This fixture is one of the spiciest in Scottish football and sparks usually fly whenever they collide. Bet365 are offering 11/10 on both sides collecting two or more cards but the odds are better on certain players going in the book.
Dons full-back Nicky Devlin is 12/5 to pick up his fourth card this term while rookie Rangers stopper Clinton Nsiala looks overpriced at 4/1 if he starts again.
