MANCHESTER UNITED are Europa League favourites after swatting aside Barcelona but Erik ten Hag's men now must see off serial tournament winners Sevilla to reach the semi-finals.
The Old Trafford giants were superb across two legs against Barca and our man Mark cashed in by backing them to finish the job at Old Trafford after that thrilling 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp.
It has kept manager Ten Hag on track for a treble in his debut season at Man United with the Carabao Cup already in the bag and an FA Cup semi-final looming against Brighton.
But the Dutchman has been operating with a tight squad all season and the demanding fixture list could start to take a heavy toll, with star man Marcus Rashford forced off in the weekend league win over Everton. Ten Hag will be without Rashford for this one and that's a huge blow as nobody wants to face Sevilla the business end of the Europa League.
The La Liga side have won this tournament six times since 2006 and have knocked out PSV Eindhoven and Fenerbahce since dropping down from the Champions League this season.
It has been a disappointing domestic season for Sevilla with the club sitting a lowly 13th, which saw Jorge Sampaoli sacked last month, but they can still salvage their campaign with another triumph in Europe under Jose Luis Mendilibar.
How the bookies view it
Manchester United are heavy favourites to qualify at a best 1/4 with SkyBet while Sevilla look overpriced at 61/16 with VBet to reach the semis. For a win at Old Trafford, the Spanish side are a whopping 8/1 at Bet365 while the Red Devils are just 11/25 at BetUK and the draw pays 41/10 with VBet.
Head to head
These sides have only faced off three times in European competition and Sevilla have yet to taste defeat. They beat Manchester United 2-1 in the Europa League semi-final three years ago and claimed a memorable 2-1 win at Old Trafford in the Champions League last 16 back in 2018 after a stalemate in Spain.
Players to watch
With Rashford missing out, other Manchester United forwards will need to step up to the plate. Brazilian winger Antony is always a threat with his long-range shooting and he's 11/4 with William Hill for anytime scorer.
Youssef En-Nesyri has been Sevilla's biggest threat all season and the Moroccan has 18 goals for club and country this term. He has scored in his last two games and is 7/2 at Paddy Power to keep that run going.
Anything else catch the eye?
Backing Manchester United for a win to nil salvaged something for me when struggling Everton were surprisingly reticent to stick the boot in at Old Trafford on Saturday. But that clean sheet had more to do with the Toffees' lack of punch than brilliant defending and I've a feeling Sevilla might score in Manchester. BTTS is evens with 888Sport but over 2.5 goals is shorter at a best 3/4 with Midnite.
Indiscipline has been a problem for Sevilla and they picked up two red cards and five yellows in their 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo at the weekend. Experienced Serbian Nemanja Gudelj has amassed 13 bookings this season so looks decent value at 23/10 with Unibet for another card here. The same firm also price over 3.5 Sevilla cards at 31/20.
Backing plenty of corners paid off for me when Sevilla hosted PSV and we could see a few more here with both sides playing with a lot of width. Paddy Power price over 9.5 corners at 6/5 for this one.
