MANCHESTER UNITED continue their treble trophy hunt when they face Fulham in the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag guided the Red Devils to their first piece of silverware in six years with a 2-0 success over Newcastle in last month's EFL Cup final against Newcastle at Wembley.
Fresh from that success under the arch, United sealed their passage to the last-eight of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over West Ham, justifying my faith in them to overcome a -0.75 handicap.
After eliminating Real Betis from the Europa League on Thursday night, ten Hag and Co switch their attention back to domestic cup duty this weekend when they welcome Fulham.
Marco Silva's men have performed above expectations since their promotion back to the Premier League, although their overall form has took a slight dip in recent weeks, most recently losing 3-0 to title-chasing Arsenal.
The Cottagers have already seen off Hull, Sunderland and Leeds to reach the last-eight, but it would be fair to say that this will be their toughest test to date.
Outright Betting
Manchester United, who have avoided defeat in each of their last 22 home matches in all competitions, head into this cup tie as 1/2 favourites.
Fulham have already lost to Manchester United in the Premier League this season and the bookmakers' odds suggest they will suffer the same fate here, with the Londoners 13/2 (William Hill) underdogs while the draw can be backed at 15/4 (Spreadex).
Betting Angles
Manchester United are too short to side with at the above-mentioned price so I'll head to the Bet Builder market and merge Manchester United to Win and Under Five Match Goals at 5/6 (Bet 365).
As already alluded to, Man United have rebuilt Old Trafford into a fortress once again and I'm backing them to have too much firepower for Fulham to deal with here.
Having said that, the Red Devils have been solid rather than spectacular in front of their own supporters this season, with 19 of their 21 home wins this term featuring four goals or fewer.
While Fulham slumped to a 3-0 defeat last weekend, they are rarely blown anyone away by their opponents, and that is reflected by the fact they have lost just six of their last 19 matches across league and cup competition.
What's more, five of those six losses were by a one-goal margin, so there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the Cottagers can keep this cup clash competitive, although I suspect that they will ultimately come up short.
With that in mind, coupled with the fact this combination clicked when the pair met at Craven Cottage earlier in the season, siding with the same selection at Old Trafford stands out at 5/6 (Bet 365).
After making the net bulge against Real Betis on Thursday night, I'll also back Marcus Rashford to get on the scoresheet at 11/10 (Bet 365).
Manchester United's man of the moment has racked up a whopping 27 goals and nine assists in 43 games this season so he definitely represents a spot of value to strike on Sunday.
