CHELSEA'S Champions League fate is in their own hands and the Blues can book their place in the last 16 with a home win against Lille on Tuesday night.
The French outfit are the only side in Group H who will enter the final round of fixtures having been eliminated from the competition – Lille have only picked one point from their opening five matches.
Christophe Galtier's men have been brushed aside by all three teams in the section – with the only exception coming on matchday three when pinching a point at home to Valencia.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have bounced back impressively from their opening night setback against Valencia – a revival that started in the reverse fixture against Tuesday nights opponents from France.
After leaving Lille with three points, the Blues went on to bag a further four via a double-header against Ajax, before playing out a pulsating and profitable 2-2 draw with Valencia in southern Spain last time out.

Lille travel to London with nothing but pride to play for and that can perhaps be attributed to the French outfit being a towering 16/1 (William Hill) to triumph and a share of the spoil is also deemed improbable at 6/1 (Betway)
The Betting Angles
Chelsea's young-guns have played with fluency and without fear this season, however, the capital club are currently in the midst of their first real problematic phase of the season to date – having only won once in their last five matches across all competitions.
The Londoners latest setback came on Saturday at Goodison Park when manageresses Everton put Lampard and Co to the sword on an afternoon that once again demonstrated Chelsea's well documented defensive deficiencies.
Chelsea have only chalked up one clean sheet in their last 10 outings and they will be locking horns with a Lille side who have hit the back of the net in 13 of their last 15 fixtures.
Given that Lille will arrive in London with nothing to lose, I suspect they may have a go at the hosts and given the attacking threat that they will carry, coupled with Lampard's leaky defence, I like the look of the 21/20 (SportingBet) on offer for Lille to score in this game.
However, at the other end of the park Chelsea are well stacked with superior attacking quality and with that in mind, I'm also attracted to the 11/10 (Bet 365) on offer for both teams to score at Stamford Bridge – a bet that would have banked profit in eight of Chelsea's last 10 matches.
I fully expect Chelsea to rubber-stamp their last 16 ticket on Tuesday night, however, given the the Blues congested calendar and their ever-changing back four, I suspect that this tussle might not be as straightforward for the hosts as what the betting suggests.
Therefore, I'm going to side with Lille with a two goal start on the Asian handicap at 4/5 (Unibet) – betting angle that would only see you out of pocket in the event that the away team lost by three or more goals – Chelsea have only won by three or more goals in three of the 24 matches that they contested this season to date.
