It is first against second as Burnley host Blackburn Rovers in a top of the table clash in the English Championship on Sunday.

Sitting just two points above Blackburn Rovers, Burnley will view Sunday’s clash as a chance to extend their lead at the top. They are unbeaten at Turf Moor this season and have won their last four home matches.
Blackburn Rovers are only recently beginning to find their rhythm having found things difficult in August and September. They have won five of their last six Championship matches.
Rovers showed they can mix it up with the top teams after knocking out Premier League side West Ham in the Carabao Cup on penalties following a 2-2 draw in normal time. They were also victorious in their previous Championship fixture, picking up a 1-0 won over Huddersfield.
A small blemish in Blackburn Rovers’ fine showings lately is that they remain unconvincing on their travels. Jon Dahl Tomasson’s men head to Turf Moor with six defeats in their last nine Championship matches on the road.
