IT was a good day on the site for anyone who concentrates on goals bets.
Of the five btts games I tipped four were winners, Greg Browning's over 2.5 goals treble won, Desmond's 2+ double came in and Scott Allott posted a European both to score treble winner.
It does seems it's easier to predict winners but you can't get away from the fact punters still love WDW bets and I'll continue to advise both while others such as Greg and Desmond prefer goals.
My match on Saturday was postponed so while the site was down today I drew up a sizeable shortlist of games that looked good to score.
They included Spurs v Chelsea, Inverness v Celtic, Empoli v Lazio, Groningen v Den Haag, Zwolle v Ajax, Rayo v Bilbao, Sevilla v Valencia, Empoli v Lazio, Augsburg v Wolfsburg and Bayer v Schalke.
That's a lot to get through but hopefully from those I've picked the correct treble.
I'm starting with Zwolle-Ajax. PEC have given Ajax some trouble down the years and the last two visits of the Amsterdam giants have ended 1-1.
Zwolle ended a poor run with a 5-0 win at Roda last week and now they've found their shooting boots should net against a side who looked fragile at Parkhead last week.
I watched Celtic v Ajax and the Glasgow side should have won. They missed chances before a mistake handed the Dutch a late winner and didn't defend well when they drew 2-2 with the Scots at home.
I'm staying in Holland for my second pick and it's based on stats more than anything. The last six meetings between Utrecht and Heracles have seen both to score with 24 goals scored. One concern is Heracles games haven't been high scoring recently but let's listen to the h2h figures.
Complete the treble with Spurs v Chelsea and reasoning behind that pick is on the English preview post.
1pt Both to Score Treble
Zwolle v Ajax (1.30pm)
Groningen v Den Haag (1.30pm)
Spurs v Chelsea (12pm)
(7-2, bet365)
Tomorrow I’m going for an over 1.5 Total goals treble, pretty self explanatory 3 games which should see goals in favour of one team or both, either way we don’t care!
Tottenham v Chelsea
Norwich v Arsenal
Liverpool v Swansea
Pays just slightly under evens with William Hill
Indeed it was Mr fixit! Black Friday was nearly paid for :-)
