ENGLAND played like desert prats in their opening ODI in Abu Dhabi earlier this week as Pakistan eased to a six-wicket victory.
Eoin Morgan's side are now as big as 10-1 at Paddy Power to win the four-match series but will need a big improvement to avoid another defeat when the sides renew hostilities today.

Morning Filipino. Yeah Barney did infact lose the 180 contest against wade. The truth of the matter is it gets a lot harder to predict the knockout stage games. Favourites are losing, lines are not being covered etc… Chisnel yesterday is the prime example. Webster sure is in good form at the moment no question. He is power scoring and taking his doubles out well but I feel backing either player for the win is still too big a gamble. Pehaps the way to go on this one is over 14.5 180’s @ evens, that way you have both the players working for you and in a best of 31 legs match it is realistcally achievable.

Just posted on the NFL thread but look for Megatron to put up some big numbers in Green Bay this weekend. Our secondary is decimated with our first four corners on the depth chart all questionable. I don’t think our best corner (Hayward) could even match up to Megatron if he was 100%. The Lions have lost their last 24 games in Green Bay. It should happen again but really worried about that secondary. Clinton-Dix also gave up some big plays in Carolina. If Matt Stafford likes doing one thing, it’s throwing it deep down the field. Expecting a line at least 100 yards. Will keep an eye out.

Zimbabwe won’t want to be whitewashed in all 3 series and with the short format today I feel they can push Bangladesh all the way with their attacking batting. They bat well but lose wicket quickly so a return to T20 makes them less disadvantaged.
As for Englad, they have to improve on last performance. Joe Rot rarely has 2 bad innings in a row and i just feel England are in with a chance (they also don’t want to be whitewashed!)

A nice big card tonight, and I’ve been looking at Rockets @ Nuggets.
Couple of angles I like on this game, firstly Rockets are going to want to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Nets, and secondly they’ll be out for revenge against the Nuggets. It’s a perfect combination.

Taylor, although not playing well against Rowby-John Rodriguez and Terry Jenkins, has somehow managed to get over the finishing line. Thornton will almost always power score and is deadly on double tops. He will rack up the 180’s but I feel Taylor will still be there or thereabouts due to the longer format. It really is hard to call, it could go either way but I think the loser of the match is certainly good enough to win 11 legs and cover the line.

I’m gutted to miss the nap by just one 180. Webster hit 10 180’s and Barney 4 but he bloody hit 30 140’s instead… If only one of those 140’s could’ve deflected into the treble 20 bed.
