JUST like last weekend I followed a losing Saturday with a super Sunday – and for the life of me I don't know why it's happening.
After dropping 4.5 points on Saturday my two trebles won last night for a 12 points profit – with 0.5pt off for covering on Atletico Madrid.
It's nice to make up for Saturday but I spend much more time on those tips than the Sunday ones so it's a bit frustrating. Hopefully this weekend both days will be winning one.
It was a pretty good day across the board and thanks to everyone for the generous comments. Too many winners to mention as usual but they included HullShaker, kevinmac, Greg, macca, bullseye and SB.
Big game tonight is Wolves v Man United and if it wasn't for Wolves' involvement in the Europa League and a meeting with against Torino on Thursday I'd expect them to take something.
They beat United 2-1 twice at Molineux last season – league and cup – and tend to play well against the top six. Best bet could be btts and that's already been predicted by HullShaker while macca fancies a Wolves win.

I'm doubling up btts at Molineux with over 2.5 goals at Zulte v Charleroi in Belgium. The last five meetings between the sides have totalled 22 goals and that's enough to back over 2.5.

@Mr F. There’s many people on here that have made a pretty packet off yours and many others tips here, so having an odd off day is just the nature of the beast. We’d all love a bank busting Saturday, but I think the fact that there is so much choice makes it even harder to nail down the good ones we want.
If I can get my head above water in my day to day stuff, I’m going to start spending some time looking into last seasons championship matches and seeing how often the Win/btts + overs cards + overs corners comes in. I know it would effectively be a 6 way acca, but finding 2x of them matches that land once over a full season has the potential to deliver a price of around 2000-3000/1. 1 of them landing would put a seriously large + number in the good column. Could even end up paying for every bet placed over the next 12 months.
I did it a few time with a single match and typically pays around 50 – 65/1.
It is also a bit like dropping a quid on every league match to end 3-3 but using oddschecker for the best price. You only need 2 to deliver on the whole card each week average for it to yield profit. Again, typical prices are circa 50 – 66/1 – sometimes 100/1.
It’s a time thing for me, and as soon as I’m able to, I’ll start running through a few matches to see what the stats look like.
You’re right about choice and I’m trying to spend less time looking at English League One & Two and it was Carlisle not scoring who beat my btts treble on Saturday. Look forward to your long shot picks.

United has proved on its first game that they can play with guts and scores at freewill. I have seen so many tipsters looking at head to head and past season stats but really guys, this time United is made of another metal. With Van Dijk look alike styler Magui at the back and Wan Bissaka to bolster through anytime from back to front, United will push through wingers to squeeze through the defence of Wolves.
Three pacey players upfront and most important they are in form, Rashford gained muscular strength and confidence this year.
And Don’t forget United got one of the best keeper in the league who is capable to make match decisive saves. Lazy Pogba is finding some rhythms in this start of the season.
On the other side, Jota will be the danger man as he found the net in Europa qualifiers. However the opponent coefficient of Wolves in Europa is insignificant.

I’m not all that convinced that a win against a poor Chelsea side shows Man U to be “made of another metal”. We’re all football fans and have different teams but let’s leave bias away from betting. It’s possible that Man U are going to be a different team this season and a big part of me hopes that they are as I grew up on Fergies United and whilst always being a Wolf; you couldn’t help but admire and respect them.
Europa isn’t the distraction that people suggest. We have utilised a number of different players in Europe so far and have rotated things around so as to rest players and it’s worth noting that NES is a very good coach and one of his key mantras is that of fitness.
We thrive against the top teams who are going to attack us and our counter attack is blistering. We will sit and soak up pressure and imho I have to agree with a lot of what Maccathered has said….. I think he’s more confident than I am tonight as I’ll be interested to see if we really have a Man U capable of remaining in the top 6.
My thoughts all along have been on

If Man U are going to take anything tonight they’ll have to work at is.

Great call on the bet of the day. Late last night I was eyeing up a game that might yield a solitary goal and saw 3 games all kicking off at 6pm but awful prices. Aarhus in Denmark, Bodo Glimt in Norway and Gothenburg in Sweden. I awoke before kickoff and waited in play for the treble. Not a huge boost but it raised my pot by 22%. I look at flashscore and all three currently have 2 goals in the respective matches.
I’m eyeing up a goal in the Wolves/Man Utd game. Think I say a 1/12 price for overs 0.5, but I now see it has dropped to 1/14. So I shall stick for 10 mins or so and roll the dice again.
