HOPEFULLY the tide's turned for me after a poor spell with last night's treble landing at 27-10.
After being robbed at the death on so many lines this was a comfortable win that never looked in doubt thanks to Milan, Juventus and West Brom.
While I was happy with my win clydeman was delighted as Juventus landed him a 14-timer that returned £1700 so that was great lift.
Plenty of winners on Monday as results went the way of punters – the likes of HullShaker and kevinmac were bang on the money. And well done to all those with winners in Australia in the early hours.
So we move on to Tuesday which sees matches in English League One and Two, National League North and the EPL Trophy.
Elsewhere there are French, Spanish and Cup matches so a difficult night and as usual team news is vital.
I've picked out a goals treble starting with both to score at AZ v Vitesse in the Dutch Cup quarters. AZ are favourites and should win having made the semis eight seasons running. But both teams are sitting in the top five so maybe goals are a safer bet.
Four out of five on the h2h have seen both score including 4-3 when they met in Alkmaar last season. Btts has come up in nine of Vitesse's last 10 games.
Add btts at Yeovil v Lincoln and again while the Imps are favourites goals could be the shout. Yeovil have won their last two included a fine 1-0 success at Mansfield and they've netted in four of their last six. Leaders Lincoln are evens favourites but five of their last six have brought up btts so I'm going for goals.
Complete the treble with over 2.5 goals at Plymouth v Walsall. Plymouth have won three in a row and yet again under Derek Adams have got it going after Christmas. I fancy them to beat a Walsall side who won for the first time in eight at Gillingham on Saturday.
But again I'm taking goals – this time overs. Five of Plymouth's last six have gone this way as have all six of Walsall's.
For the Top Treble I'm taking a double chance treble on Plymouth and Lincoln and adding Fleetwood to avoid defeat at League One basement boys Wimbledon.
I've ignored the EFL Trophy and the French Cup where teams must be checked here before having a bet. There are always shocks in the French Cup and I see Les Herbiers, who reached a final a few years ago, are in action tonight at Villefranche.
Other ties include Monaco v Metz, Sete v Lille, Toulouse v Reims and Nancy v Guingamp.
Monaco I imagine will play a weakened side as they're fighting the drop from Ligue 1 while I'd be tempted by Guingamp if they field a strong line-up. It's bottom of Ligue 2 v bottom of Ligue 1 but Guingamp beat PSG away in the cup recently before being punished for that with a 9-0 league defeat in Paris at the weekend.
Andrezieux, who beat Marseille in the last round, face Lyon-Duchere at home – fourth tier v third tier – and are bigger than 2-1 to produce another shock. Another fourth-tier side in action are Sete at home to Lille who usually take this seriously and are about 1-3.
I'd love to put up a French Super Single or treble but it would have to be last minute so I won't bother.

Not really a league that I’m that familiar with but tonight, I’ll be having a little dabble on overs 2.5 in Plymouth v Walsall.
Plymouth have won their last 3 on the spin and although not convincing against Coventry last time out, they’ve showed they’re a threat going forward, just a bit ropey at the back.
