IT was another interesting night in the Champions League qualifiers and Betfred Cup and another two out of three on my treble.
Unfortunately it's been a recurring theme for me over the past 10 days or so but hopefully I'll hit some nice winners soon.
Thursday throws up dozens of Europa League qualifiers including Rangers, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock trying to book second-round slots after first-leg wins.
All three should make it but Aberdeen need to be careful as they take a 2-1 lead to Finnish strugglers RoPS. I've posted a Europa League preview here.
Two trebles take my fancy – Aberdeen, Progres Niedrcorn to add to their 2-0 lead at home to Cork and
I've also picked a both to score treble with all six teams scoring in the first leg and seeing 13 goals at the matches at Pyunik and Balzan. Hopefully the second legs go the same way.
Well done to all last night's winners.
Remember to check out welovebetting for their tips and video.

Atlanta United vs Houston Dynamo
Thursday 18th July 00:00
Last years MLS champions Atlanta host US open cup champions Houston Dynamo at the Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia at midnight tonight.
After a slow start under new manager Frank De boer Atlanta seem to be getting more used to the Dutchman’s way of playing, especially at home. They’ve won 8 of their last 9 at home in all competitions with the only blip being a 3-3 draw in their last league against NY Red Bulls who are usually there or thereabouts to being America’s best side. They’ve scored 17 goals in those 9 home games and have star striker and top goal scorer Josef Martinez back from Copa America duty with Venezuela.
Houston Dynamo games are rarely dull in which they average 3 goals per game. However they have really struggled away from home losing 7 of their 8 away games conceding an average of 2 goals. They also lost on their only visit to Atlanta 4-1 a couple of years ago and a similar score line wouldn’t surprise
To conclude there’s a couple selections I fancy tonight:
•Atlanta 2+ Team goals (1/2) Skybet
•Atlanta win & o1.5 match goals (17/20) both Coral and Ladbrokes
Also for a 4 fold on all tonight’s MLS games I’m going for:
•Atlanta 2+ team goals
•New England vs Vancouver whitecaps btts
•Chicago fire
•Toronto vs NY Red bulls btts
•6.46/1 (Bet 365)
excellebt preview and win 👏👏
I spotted that one really late on, dropped onto Atlanta @ 8/11, the bet was placed seconds before Houston got a red card, then the goals flew in for I believe a 4 nil. Problem is, when I get a sniff at a decent pick, I tend to strike a bet and then rue the chance of sharing it. I saw a 9/5 in the Chinese league earlier and that landed. I’m eyeing up a couple of games Friday late/Saturday early. Gotta look into them though. Olympia ascunsion and Cerro Potena if memory serves me right. I think they’re Paraguay games. I’ll look later.
Thanks very much mate 👍🏼

gremio are fond of the late goals like i highlighted before and i have the previous preview i done saved also before the copa america started.
Gremio always do well in cups and especially the copa sudamerica etc and this is CUP BRASIL QFINAL against Bahia and we come into this game with 5 wins out of 6 and 4 clean sheets with 2-1 0-1 1-0 1-0 loss
and a 3-0 win
at home we are UNBEATEN IN 5 games and 4 clean sheets again and 2-3 goals landing in 3 of those games and 67% of our games this season
Bahia have only won 1 of their last 10 away games and that was a small shock knocking out sao paulo. Their late goals have been flying in with 6/8 in the last few games before the copa started and 3 in a row seen it achieved also and the 2-3 with 2-1 1-1 and 1-1
**********************
Not much has changed since i wrote this last week when the 2-3 goals nap landed (score 1-1) but its a huge game for gremio and they done well on saturday to grind out a 2-1 win over vasco with the LATE GOAL AND THE 2-3 landing AGAIN and pepe getting both goals. Bahia however had santos at home and were beaten 0-1 and santos were MUCH the better side and again dominated the stats in all aspects of the game
3 bets i fancy tonight on the match are below and im also having a SIDE bet on GREMIO to win at 6/4 ✅✅as the price is generous IMO

Agree with one of Mr F’s picks in the daily treble.
Progres Niederkorn to beat Cork. Cork lost the home leg, have not scored in the last 4 games and have lost 9 out of 11 on the road too.

Been looking through bookies to try and find Alves’s tips and stumbled on this offer from W/Hills # your odds
Below 6/1, which I feel offers great value:-
Rangers over 3 corners each half @ 9/5 2 pts staked.

Yea, I thought that was who he used, but I couldn’t find the over 1.5 goal, over 8.5 corners and 30 + BP’s at all, and the best price for the goal in both half treble, which I assume included the Rangers game, was 5/2 at skybet. I therefore mistakingly assumed he had placed it at another bookie!

Aberdeen v RoPS (17:00GMT)
Like the look of Mr F’s Treble! I had already picked out Aberdeen to win yesterday at 8/11 but they’ve shortened considerably since.
I watched the first leg at Pittodrie and despite the scoreline there was a golf in class between the two sides. The RoPS goalkeeper was man of the match and without him Aberdeen could’ve been 5 or 6 goals to the good. Aberdeen New signings, Hedges & Gallagher in hit the ground running and caused all kinds of problems for the Finnish outfit. Gallagher in particular looks like a great signing for the dons and reminded me of former Aberdeen player Jamie Smith!
Aberdeen travelled well last season and should be good for the win but they are also likely to concede. Despite their dominant performance at home, they do tend to sit off teams when they don’t have possession and there’s always a chance (as in the first leg) they will concede a goal.

3 games that have been screaming out goals that pays 1.08/1 on the treble
⚠first leg was 1-4 to brondy and not too often they dont find the net and inter turku have found the net in their last 11 games at home, hard to refuse 1.5 match goals in a game where they are 1-4 down so thats first selection
⚠Levadia v stjarnan is 1-2 from firsr leg to stjarnan and levadia last 8 games in a row saw 1.5 achieved with
2-1 1-2 1-6 5-0 2-0 1-6 1-1 1-3
stjarnan last 9 out of 10 games saw this achieved also bar a rare 0-0 with grindavik, again i expect 2 goals minimum here
⚠ last up is Rops v aberdeen. Aberdeen dominated the last leg and i mean dominated it with 33 goal attempts and only for the man of the match keeper as hunter said then it could have been 6-1 or 5-1. Rops now at home and a 93rd minute goal has given them some hope but aberdeen should be nicking this game again with mcginn and cosgrove playing well and again i fancy 2 match goals and hopefully justified reasoning why.

UEFA Europa League Qualifying 17:00
FC Levadia Tallinn vs Stjarnan – over 14 total corners 7/1 Bet365 **NB**
I’m going with a NB size stake on the second bet due to how things played out in the first leg. There were corners awarded frequently and both sides were getting them. The stats were as follows:
Stjarnan vs FC Levadia Tallinn (3-4) HT corners, (7-8) FT corners
The first leg finished on a total corner count of 15 and a 2-1 scoreline victory to Stjarnan so Levadia will be fighting to stay in the competion with home advantage in Estonia. I watched the first leg and it was a very open match with chances being created at both ends hence the final corner count. With qualification on the line as a direct outcome of the match it’s quite realistic to expect 15+ corners especially considering how evenly distributed they were in the first game.
Good luck all
Afternoon Mr Bullseye,
What do you make of Richard Riakporhe for Saturday nights boxing? 🥊
I’m going for the straight win @4/9 bet365.
I think his power will be an obvious advantage and if he settles down a bit (more experience doing him good) I can see him finishing mid rounds or if it does go to the cards he’ll take it.
Also like Dan Cooper to win his quarter final match in the cruiserweight tournament on box nation. He’s not been active for just over a year but has previously trained with Kell Brook and Billy Joe Saunders @ingles gym and they rate him quite highly.
Even Stevens @365 but smaller stake on him.
How do you think Whyte will do and as for the Allen vs Price match…..timberrrrrrr!
Rogers over.
Cheers
Easy Drodgers. Yep I’m with you on the straight Riakporhe win. Hes definitely still rough around the edges but hes just got that equaliser with the power. It could be an evenly contested fight really until he catches Billam -Smith and I reckon he’ll either KO him or get the decision by way of one or more knockdowns.
I’ve got to admit I like the price on Rivas but I’m not sure its a fight I could bet on. One bet I’m looking at that I do like is fight to go the distance No 11/10 Bet365. I think Whyte could potentially knockout Rivas with a huge left hook or on the flip side Whyte could gas in the second half of the fight and Rivas could stop him. One thing’s for sure Rivas will not stop coming forward putting pressure on Whyte. I think with Whyte’s long reach he’ll use the jab well and like Jennings he could he could build up a lead in the fight but Rivas will be dangerous to the final bell (iced Jennings in the 12th when behind on the cards). Rivas has excellent pedegree and actually holds wins over Pulev and Andy Ruiz in the amateurs.
Really don’t know have the foggiest about Allen/Price. Will be a really fun fight to watch lol. I think Price will go for it early – surely he has to know his gas tank will be kaput after 3 rounds.
Afternoon lads

I don’t like Aberdeen at 8-15 but yesterday when I took them they were 21-25 which is OK.
I agree with Macca, looks like a game best left alone. Should be a very different game over in Finland and they are in mid season. I wouldn’t like the look of Aberdeen at Evenmoney tbh.
Think they will be more than content with a draw.
Bully’s beaten me to the punch, fancy Corners in Levadia myself. Ideally wanted someone to offer a market on team corners as I think the hosts will pickup the majority as they look to overcome a 2-1 deficit from the 1st leg but settled on this and should have an excellent chance.

Aberdeen left it late but similar to the 1st leg, they were a good striker away from winning by a bigger margin. Apart from the deflected goal RoPS really didn’t pose too much of a threat.
Its still early in the season for Aberdeen but they will need to be a lot more clinical if they want to progres in this competition.
Less said about the 2pt treble the better – I didn’t expect many goals in the Parnu game but its the Estonian league and should’ve known better than to back against goals.

I know exactly what you mean Crane. Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the only time I back them all season. They’re sometimes good for corner bets but that’s about it. On this occasion I just felt they looked miles ahead of RoPS in terms of quality. Aberdeen have made some good signings this season, they just need one of their strikers to get their head out their ass and start scoring some goals because Cosgrove ain’t the answer in my opinion – 6ft 4 and can’t head a ball. Their home record at home last season was abysmal but it doesn’t surprise me given the difference in home support (sweetie rustlers) compared to their away support!
