FRIDAY wasn't great even if I got my England tip correct as they lost their first qualifier for 10 years.
Gareth Southgate's men were poor despite taking an early lead and while I was happy with my over 2.5 goals tip I was let down on my Top Treble by no goals at Montenegro.
I usually look forward to Saturdays but the card is a stinker – more Euro qualifiers, English League One and League Two and the Scottish Challenge Cup.
It's definitely a day for low stakes and I'm putting up just three bets and risking three points. There are no VIP Tips and my Super Single is from Sunday where I reckon Scotland will struggle to beat San Marino by six.

That does seem a bit odd. I know 365 don’t always offer cards markets for lots of games that you think they would (I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have cards inplay on lots of the euro games last night). Also the bet builder markets doesn’t let you build all the markets they have available. However I use it regularly for win and o1.5 mgls or win and under 4.5mgls which I always had to go to betway previously for so helps me there. But definite room for improvement.

Closer to home to home I really like the look of the 15/8 that Sky Bet are offering on Connah’s Quay to collect 30+ booking points against Partick Thistle. First game in oz ko at 6am uk time tomorrow and sees league new boys western United make the short trip to New Zealand to face the nix. Absolutely nothing to go on as it’s their first competitive game ever, but the bookies have priced them up as favourites and looking at their squad the have a few players who should do really well at this level. However the only team to win in Wellington in the last 12 attempts has been league kings Sydney and I don’t think it will be an easy game for the new boys. I reckon we’ll see both sides net here. Game 2 sees premiers Perth glory take on Robbie Fowler’s Brisbane and both sides have tooled up for the forthcoming season. The signings of established goalscorers o Donovan for the roar and fornaroli for Perth should make sure these 2 are in about the goals this season. I can see this game having a few.
