IT'S a big sporting day with loads of good football and of course the Grand National Day.
An ideal scenario would be to notch a couple of wins on the football then have some fun bets on the feature race at Aintree which starts later than usual.
Liverpool v Bournemouth follows the race and then it's Spurs v Man City for armchair fans. And it all starts with a third live EPL game at 12.30 with Southampton v Chelsea.
Earlier than that we have the first Scottish Cup semi-final between Motherwell and Aberdeen and that's followed on Sunday with another Celtic v Rangers showdown.
My afternoon will be less glamorous as I watch Beith v Clydebank and hopefully Spurs will be on the telly in the pub at night for Big Roy McCormack's leaving do.
Dumbarton fans like Desmond will want to wish him all the best – before he joined the Record he scored more than 100 goals for the Sons having joined them after a failed trial with the Bankies. I think that one was our loss.
Anyway I hope everyone enjoys all the sporting action with some winners. I've posted separate Scottish and English previews where most of my top tips are reasoned.
And later I'll have to make a big decision on the next bet in the £10 to £1000 challenge. I'll put up three to be voted on and I need to win £300 from a £700 so something like a 1-2 shot will do it – or it might take two attempts.
As always the £1000 will go to members- this time we're thinking of buying some tickets for big events and giving them away. But first I need that next bet to win.
I didn't have time to put up a Super Single shortlist but on it would been the likes of Barnsley, Millwall, Plymouth, Accrington, Lincoln, Kilmarnock and Elgin as well as Ayr and over 2.5 match goals. Still mulling over my choice and I'll add it in the morning.
Last night it was goals galore as usual in Holland and France and well done to Greg and Jordan for their latest winners.
The two Dutch games I picked for overs landed but the Girona v Real Betis match flopped. However, at least the members bet won thanks to Betis and Nice scoring.
