IT was one loser and one winner for me on a Monday night that provided few sparks.
The Steel derby was as expected closely fought and well done to Kevin for predicting draw and under 2.5 match goals in his preview.
He also tried a long shot of one red each and I went with both to have two cards based on the ref stats and the fact it was a derby but that was blown out of the water with none. Incredible.
Also incredible was the fact Hearts didn't beat Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup after one of the most one-sided first halves I've seen in a long time.
It was only 1-0 to the Jambos and they paid the price for missed chances when Thistle scored with maybe their only chance of the game. I'm sure Hearts will get the job done second time round and set up a semi-final with an Inverness side they beat 5-0 in the Betfred Cup.
After a big price drift on Hearts – still don't know why I took them draw no bet on the Top Treble so I ended with an 8-5 winning double on Hamburg and both to score at Midtjylland v Nordsjaelland. Thanks for clueless and others for that one.
Tuesday sees the return of the Champions League with Dortmund v Spurs and Real Madrid v Ajax and check out the separate match previews.
Spurs are all but through after a 3-0 win at Wembley and it's the same story for Real who lead 2-1. I can see goals here if Dortmund and Ajax haven't conceded defeat and for now I'm putting up an over 2.5 goals double.
There's not much else to look at with Derby v Wigan, Accrington v Blackpool and Cheltenham v Bury in the English leagues with Bury looking best of those bets.
Bristol Rovers tackle Sunderland in the EFL Trophy and there are plenty of English non-league games to size up.
In Scotland it's Brechin v East Fife in League One and in League Two the top two are in action as Cowdenbeath entertain Peterhead while Edinburgh City take on lowly Berwick.
It's a pretty skinny card but I'm adding a 1pt Top Treble. Derby were as bas as they could have been at Aston Villa at the weekend but Frank Lampard will make changes and they should be too good at home to a Wigan side struggling to stay clear of the drop zone.
If Derby don't win tonight there play-off hopes could be finished and I believe they'll rise to the occasion and bag the points at a tempting price of over evens. Be interesting to hear nathan's thoughts.
Bury as we know are better at home but victory at lowly Cheltenham tonight will give them a massive lift in the race for automatic promotion. Not easy but again Bury are odds against and that's good enough for me.
Complete the treble in Scottish League 2 as promotion-chasers Edinburgh City entertain second-bottom Berwick. Should be a convincing win for the home men but as they are around 1-6 I'm on City -1AH.

Mostly resigned to punting on the weekend now but I’ve had a little time to check out Tuesday’s card. The AFC Champions League returns and one tie in particular stands out to me as being potentially one-sided. Take Stockport to keep up their ridiculously good run of form by netting at Boston.

Good luck all.
Looks a good treble mate 👍🏼
It’s a about the English non leagues tomorrow with 26 matches from the National League north and south and the leagues below
As always with these leagues there will be plenty of goals and I’m sure plenty others will have these games on their radar ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Will post later
Apologies that no Irish tips were posted on the Friday!
Apologies as well that my tip posts are long. I like to at least explain my reasonings behind the picks!
I had the best weekend of gambling that I’ve had in a long long time. Especially after that dreadful Febuary! 3 cracking bets all rolled in over the Saturday and Sunday returning 1080 in total! Not bad at all! The dreaded cashout button cost me 350 but my heart goes out to the punter who took 14 quid and his 18 fold rolled In for 18k or something along those lines. Stinker!
Anyway! I’ve a had a study at the games tomorrow night and theres definitely a few that caught my eye at decent prices. I feel Derby at home at even money is surely worth a punt. No doubt they are on a poor run but this is a massive game for Frank and his squad. 3 points of playoffs and he really needs his squad to bounce back and I fully expect them too.
Another is this champions league clash between Dortmund and Spurs. I’ve seen a lot taking dortmund simply down to the fact they are at home and have to go out and score goals and to be perfectly honest with you I feel the complete opposite. Spurs know this teams going to come out and attack they need at least 3 to take it to extra time. If spurs hold it tight till half time I fully expect them to catch them on the counter. Spurs at under 3/1 is tempting but to be safe I went with the spurs double chance at 5/6 still a fantastic price!
Bristol Rovers v Sunderland . Both teams meet only 2 weeks ago where Sunderland came out winners in a 2-0 away win. Sunderland have been impressive away from home this year. They’ve lost only 1 in their last 15 away games. I was going to take Sunderland again at 5/4 but I’m staying safe in these mid week games and with it being the semis I’ve taken Sunderland double chance at 1/3
Last but not least is Madrid v Ajax. Very simple. Take the reason behind this one as you please. I like Madrid in Europe. They’ve been rubbish in the league this year. Their fans are ruthless. They are just off the back of 2 loses to Barcelona in the matter of 3 weeks and this really is a game I expect them to win. Madrid to win at 8/13
4 fold – 13/2
Derby to win
Sunderland double chance
Spurs double chance
Real Madrid to win
Good luck!
You’ve tipped over 2.5 goals on your main tips in the Madrid game, but then you’ve tipped under 3.5 goals along with a draw on the games preview page. Which one do you recommend, sir?
It’s two different tipsters. Mr Fixit has tipped over 2.5 goals while the preview is written by Kevmac and he’s backing under 3.5 and a draw.
Yes apologies, there was no named author at the time of posting 14 hours ago, i did check. I thought it was you doing an in depth preview.
Funnily enough 3 goals exactly brings in both but as Scott has pointed the match preview is written by kev.
There are various tipsters on the site so check the author before thinking I might put 2 tips on the same market – I don’t do that.

There’s 3 games in 🇮🇹 Seria C Group A and the main fancy is Siena.
Siena v Pistoiese
A Siena side that are on a 15 match unbeaten run stretching back too Dec 2nd should be the cornerstone of any accas today. They are at home to Pistoiese who have gathered just 9 points from 13 away days with 8 losses in those 13. Siena beat them 2-0 in the reverse fixture on Feb 25th and should complete a quickfire double at around 1/2 but that’s a bit skinny for a single so add in the home side to score 2+ via bet builder for Evens
Siena to score 2+
Siena to win
1/1
Pisa are at home to a Pro Vercelli side they beat 2-1 away on Feb 24th. Pro Vercelli were top of the league for most of the season but have come unstuck with just 1 win in their last 5 including that home defeat to Pisa. Pisa who have lost 1 in 14 homes were 10 points adrift of Vercelli before their turn of form and can now move level on points with a win today. Be a tough game but Pisa can make home advantage count and win at a good price of 17/10.
Pisa win 17/10
AFC champions league starts for proper today (4 low key matches yesterday) and this competition can be excellent for goals if you know where to look. The strongest sides come from Korea japan and China usually and there’s always the odd 1 or 2 from outwith those countries who do really well. Home form counts for a lot in this competition and that’s worth bearing in mind if you see a “big team” like Guangzhou or jeonbuk away from home at around 1/3- these ties are not always the gimme they appear to be. Also worth noting, as much as a lot of us love betting on the Australian A league, teams from this league are usually out of their depth in this competition and personally I think Sydney are in the “group of death” and won’t make it past the group stage. Melbourne victory have a chance too but I don’t think they will get any further than last 8 at best. Speaking of the victory they are in action at 830 and should win but their poor league form has put me off touching that game. For an outright winner I’ve went for Qatari side al sadd at 14/1. Not one of the top favourites but the national side are top dogs in Asia and they provide a fair few of the team and I reckon they will go deep into this tournament. Other sides to look out for out with the “big 3” countries are Persepolis, al ain and al Riyadh. Onto today’s tips

Excellent write up and insight Sean. Always good to get some proper knowledge from others👍
doable mr h, for me it depends on wether they can keep the back door shut as I reckon they will score 2. bet 365 have it as 10/11 and I think that’s about right. its very early in both teams season so its hard to gauge form
I’ve settled for Kashima 3+ & Guangzhou 2+ in a double at 7/4 👌 best of luck mate
fancy that myself mr h but as its the first match I erred on the side of caution and did o2.5 match goals and -2 Asian in japan, although I do expect the home side to cover both these
Persepolis the only team to let me down so far…
Boston v Stockport

Re-post from yesterday;
National League North – Tuesday – 7.45PM
Boston United v Stockport County
County are away at Boston United. Confident of another County win. Currently EVENS for the win, and 1/2 for draw no bet. Both are excellent value given County’s unbeaten streak as they push for the NLN title and promotion.
Recommended bets;
Stockport County win – EVENS
Stockport County draw no bet – 1/2 (decent enough value as a single, but good as an acca-booster)

There were 2 penalties, 19 corners and over 20 shots….I stand by the tip and the stats back that up, on another day there could have been several goals. On this occasion, 0-1 and a loss.
Had o.5fhg in the Kashima game so was going utterly ballistic when they served up that poor excuse for a penalty!
Just two more in the second half I’m laughing.
Had Daegu FC DNB too.
Can’t believe how bad that steel derby was last night. So many 0-0s lately in the big games my bets sunk quicker than Liverpool’s title challenge. Anyone seen Macca lately hope he’s ok?
Bit of a reaction ain’t it? A point against Man Utd and Everton, Pool’s two biggest rivals, and a point behind the best team this league has ever seen at this point in the season is unbelievable.
City will drop points for sure,KDB and Fernandihno injuries,Champions league coming up it will take its toll.
So too will the pool macca unless they give up the CL and focus on the league
I agree, no doubt when it gets to the nitty gritty City will prioritise CL while the reds will prioritise the league and as you say taking injuries on board as well there will certainly be points dropped
Fine pal, thanks for asking,if your betting on goals in such games then it’s stupid as derby’s tend to be tight affairs.
Glad to hear it. I actually put my money on bookings last night doh not a single one lol
I am on the same mr f both games overs also on both over 3.5 goals and 4.5 goals.Bale will leave Madrid i wonder where he’s off,my guess would be Man Utd or possibly Spurs.

1 POINT
-Altrincham have been in resurgent form of late. Last two games they’ve scored a combined total of 10 goals – without conceding. I’m as surprised as anyone with this, very pleased though as it’s come at a good time and keeps the Robins right in the mix for promotion. I’m going to the game tonight, and I think the lads will continue their scoring form and should be good for 2 at home against a team in generally poor form, Blyth Spartans.
-Next up is Telford v Darlo. The majority of Telford’s games have seen O2.5 MGls land. Visitors Darlington may well contribute to the scoreline, indeed the guys at WLB have tipped BTTS in this game. Whether Darlo contribute or not, I see O1.5 MGls landing, if they do it stands a decent chance for O2.5 Mgls.
-Have already mentioned Stockport above. To be fair to their opponents Boston, they’ve got a solid home scoring record, and may well get on the scoresheet tonight. I’m just confident County are the better side in this tie.
Best of luck everyone.

Last Saturday, Derby were woeful. 6 changes – all players with little match time and/or inexperience. 4 nil down at ht and it looked like Aston Villa would get a few more too.
We’ve now lost 3 straight league games + the cup at Brighton. When you have momentum, its a wonderful thing, when you’re in a rut, it quickly becomes a hole. All 4 matches, Derby have been awful. Very little up front, very few chances created and pitiful numbers of shots at goal.
How we’ve manged to stay 7th is bewildering, but then again only 2 sides in the top 7 won at the weekend.
This game really is a do or die situation. Wigan are terrific at home, although we did beat them 1 nil when they hosted us, it was a long time ago.
Sometimes it’s hard to laugh when your team is playing so badly, yet some clown managing the Derby social media page asked Derby fans to vote for their Derby goal of February, I wasn’t the only to point out that we’re hardly spoilt for choice.
You advising against backing Derby then? I was gonna do them Draw no bet.

it’s midweek madness at torquay tonight, a rain soaked pitch, under the floodlights, how will we react after a defeat to bottom of the table WSM last time out?? we had 17 shots, but only scored from a penalty, losing 1-2 in the biggest upset of the season.
chelmsford visit tonight, no mugs themselves, sitting in third place, 8 wins , two draws and only one defeat in their last 11 games, altho tellingly two consecutive draws most recently, they are certainly the form team in this tie!!
we have to win, have to put woking three points behind again, we have billericay away on saturday, so these two games are massive!!
full strength squad again, the crowd should be over 2500 again, a slippery surface should suit out fast paced passing game, altho we reverted to hoofball on saturday when weston got under our skins
btts and overs will be my call, as we don’t seem to be able to keep a clean sheet for love nor money, i have to side with my boys so its TUFC win/btts at a tasty 21/10 with betway!

AFC Champions League parts went to plan… a lot riding on a Stockport goal this evening. Cover is available on Boston Clean Sheet @ 3/1 but it’s a little short, so I’m letting it run. Fingers crossed.
No joy with my bookings or red cards in Bordeaux . LOSER .
Was going to leave tonight but after seeing the prices on madrid i cant avoid.
I never seen madrid at the weekend but last midweek against barcelona they were impressive and pressing high. Ajax have a good team, not doubting it and could score but the madrid players owe the fans a scoreline. Evdn with the advantage of the two away goals i feel they will continue to press. The corner market is low for madrid at 05.5, you wont see that much lower in fhe bernabeu
Have backed Madrid win and Madrid O4.5 corners – 7/5
Mazraoui has clattered Vinicius in the first minute, could be a long night up against him, 9/2 to be carded
Just listening to the Derby/Wigan match, Derby are ratting and purposeful. If we keep this up, Derby should push them aside. I’m aware its a marathon not a sprint

GODOY CRUZ VS. OLIMPIA ASUNCION
(10.15 KO):
Pick of the Copa Libertadores games for me as my Paraguayan favourites take on an Argentinian outfit who, it’s safe to say, are not in the best shape!
The gulf in international class might have bothered me up until the last couple of years but you’ve only got to look at the internal downfall of Argentinian’s domestic standards being reflected in their national side to see something of a sea change here.
Conversely, Paraguayan football has certainly been in the ascendency and Olimpia might just prove my theory here as they look to build a growing case for their countries status in the SA standings.
I like this a lot:

Double 3.2/1 Bet365 **NB** LOST
Finally a winner after hitting the post for the last 2 days. Well done all winners.
Nice one Bully, bet you were sweating those Tottenham corners 😅
Cheers Kyle, oh yeah definitely – didn’t really look like they were coming the way Dortmund were playing possession football. Think there were 15 total corners in the end, could’ve got 5/6 for the multicorners instead of just 8/13 for the Spurs team corners. Well done on the Dortmund first half corners mate 👏 quality bet and a great price!
tonite, just 2 low stake punts from me………….
bristol rovers o1.5mgs, torquay & weston super overs 3/1 replaced torquay with telford overs at same odds WON………… did give a little back on the cover with 2 in from 3 awaiting telford overs………
dortmund & real madrid u3.5mgs, bury win, edinburgh & brechin overs 10/1 LOST not even close…………
WD all with a winner………………
Just in from the Alty game, disappointing 1-1 draw – really should’ve won that game, was 1-1 at half time and looking like Alty O1.5 and Over 2.5 mgls was going to sail in… second half was dreadful stuff though.
However, main bet lands;
Recommended bets;
Stockport County win – EVENS
Stockport County draw no bet – 1/2 (decent enough value as a single, but good as an acca-booster)
Huge away win to County, 4-1 puts them top of the league.
**WON**

Jorge Wilstermann v Boca
BTTS @ 37/40
Jorge have scored in their last 8 home Copa Libertadores matches, and we’re all aware of the strong advantage for the Bolivian Andes teams at home due to altitude. Boca should also grab one at least – they are favourites but history shows they may not have it all their own way.
One for morning
All Japanese levain cup games over 1.5mgs 11/1
like yer thots DC………. am lookin forward tae doing hearts in the scottish cup final in may will be gallus…………..

club america overs 8/11
libertad, tolima, wilstermann o1.5tgs 23/10
Joining Liam on BTTS in Sydney.
The Korean side were prolific in the AFC group stages last season, with 26 goals in their group games. That included 6-2 and 3-3 scorelines against Melbourne Victory. Like goals in this one and the price is more than fair.
1/2 Stake:
Sydney FC v Ulsan Hyundai
BTTS @ 4/5 (Bet365)
