IT was a Super Single Saturday but it should have been a whole lot better.

Montrose were too big at 15-8 and won with two goals in the first 10 minutes but Preston beat me for a 15-1 moneyback fivefold so the stake is returned as a free bet.

Killie not to lose toppled the Top Treble it was two out of three on the two both to score trebles so not far away from being a great day.

At least Cardiff won on the £10 to £1000 challenge – and the vote couldn't lose yesterday with all three suggestions being winners. Next vote will be today and Chelsea are winning it.

Well done to all the winners yesterday including Greg whose Nap was Dundee to beat his own side St Johnstone. Scott Allot's European fourfold came up late at 3-1 thanks to Benfica's injury-time winner.

Also that was a cracker from double carpet who landed a 100-1 fourfold that included Charlton at Portsmouth.

There's another big card on Sunday with Chelsea looking to beat Southampton to set up an FA Cup Final with Man United.

Man City and Arsenal are in Premier League action and Rangers are looking to bounce back from last week's nightmare against Celtic by beating Hearts who are a big price. Whatever happens Celtic will have to wait for the title after losing to Hibs.

On the Continent big games include Juventus v Napoli, Atletico Madrid v Real Betis and Bordeaux v PSG and I've posted up a goals treble bases on stats.

Last night I put up Hearts draw no bet as a Super Single at Rangers. The price is too big against a club that's been in turmoil since last weekend and if Graeme Murty can get his players to perform then fair play to him.

My Top Treble starts with Chelsea to beat Southampton in the FA Cup semis and that was reasoned yesterday. Add Burnley draw no bet at a Stoke whose need is great but talent lacking.

Burnley have a chance of a Europa League place but will be wanting to finish as high as possible. Stoke need the points as time is running out but they don't score enough and I'd be surprised if Burnley lost.

Add another side going for the Europa League at home to a team fighting relegation. That's St Etienne, unbeaten in six, at home to Troyes who have lost five out of six.

Must mention McBookie's Damian Walker too as he needs Steven Naismith to score first for Hearts to land a 535-1 treble after backing Hamilton's David Templeman and Montrose's Chris Templeman. Some bet if it comes up and McBookie tell me some of you were on the treble so good luck.

The NLN pick came up trumps earlier but I’ve had no luck at all in SA – early red cards scuppering the Strongest bets…looking at a Paraguayan Night Owl for a shot at redemption…

    GUARANÍ VS. LIBERTAD (0050 KO):

Both teams have seen 4 of their last 6 games going over 2.5 MGS and H2H’s offer a similar figure but it’s the fact that of those most recent H2H’s, every one of the last 3 on Guarani’s patch has seen a minimum of 3 goals with both teams chipping in:

Two selections worth a look here:

Big night of Showtime boxing and going with a big stake on Jermall Charlo to get a KO win on his debut at 160 lbs. He was the standout champion at 154 lbs always devastating opponents with tremendous punching power and he’ll definitely be looking to send a message out tonight to all in the 160 division. Victory will make him mandatory for Middleweight king Gennady Golovkin crowns so I see nothing other than a top performance and a brutal knockout victory.

Jorgensen ATGS 6/5 – quarter stake

    (check ATGS start!)
Highlighted the Danish game at the end of last week. Like the look of goals and Pukki has a great record in this fixture. Lazio v Samp and the Dutch Cup game feature “overs” teams with a good H2H of goals. Jorgensen averages more than a goal every other games in his time at Feyenoord and has 5 in his last 3 games against AZ. Finally read an interesting stat on Giroud – since his debut in the Cup 5 years ago he has 14 goals and 7 assists – more than any other player in this period. When Chelsea scored 3 in 8 mins against Southampton (he scored 2) a week ago I fancy him to net again and Chelsea to score a couple. GL all today

This is a fantastic achievement given they were relegated in the last two years consecutively, from the National League 2015/16 and then the Northern League 2016/17 – have had lots of managers but looks like they’ve found the one in Phil Parkinson, whos done a brilliant job.

    Udinese v Crotone 2.00

    Crotone win 10/3

You have to go back 11 games for the last time Udinese picked up any points. The away team haven’t faired much better but have picked up 4pts from their last 3 games including a draw with juve during the week and I’m hoping they can take some confidence from that going into this game.

    Stoke v Burnley

    Stoke win 13/10

Stoke were a bit unfortunate not to claim all 3pts at West ham and are running out of games so lose today and they look doomed especially with Liverpool away as their next game. Burnley played on Thursday and while they still have a chance of European football next season tiredness may come into it and I think stoke can take advantage

Hi gents. Yesterdays pick had a chance but the luck went against us. Guaranteed Dalian will lose their next five games ?

Early days in Sweden but today there is two teams where we should see goals. Jonkopings host Osters with five of their combined six games seeing BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals, with Jonkopings the only exception in where they didn’t score but conceded twice. The history also screams goals between these two with scores of 3-3, 3-2, 2-1, 3-3, 2-1, 3-0, 1-1, 4-3 and 3-0. Quite rare you see goals such a good price in Sweden and I’ll take my chances.

      @mr-fixit
Happy Birthday mate, enjoy your lunch.
I don’t watch live Scottish games, life is too short.
Watching the highlights sends me to sleep.
I would rather shave my Sandie Shaws with a blunt and rusty razor ?

Och, my Benidorm Buddies have more important things to worry about.
Their minds were probably on a week of sunshine, world cup football, Cruzcampo, dancing til 7am, and watching gorgeous Spanish girls playing volleyball on Levante beach, which 12 of us will be exposed to 8 weeks tomorrow ???⚽?
You should pull a sickie? ?

Just remember to rub in 1-0 now and again.
Never pulled a sickie in my life – wouldn’t be fair to the guys who have to cover for me.
Just hope they’ve bought me a cake.

Cummings anytime ✅ 2 of 2 from today, Hopefully the corners bring in the full house later.

Thought Murty would change it up today and put Cummings in and he’s done just that. Taking him anytime at 15/8. After sitting on the bench for the past 2 games he will be eager to put in a good performance and get a starting spot for next weeks Old Firm.

Horrible team. The way Levein sets them up is brutal. No intention of ever playing football. Long balls and time wasting from the first whistle to the last.

    One other for tonight I’m on;

    Penarol – O1.5 TGls
    7/5

Second placed Penarol, who are one of my favourite teams to back in terms of consistency, have scored 2+ goals in 7 of their last 10 home games and have won 12 (technically 13 but that was on penalties) of their last 14 home games, impressive stuff.
However this will be a tough game as they host 1st place Nacional who I think will get on the scoresheet here delisted Penarols solid Home record. Taking both teams to score at 3/4 and doubling with PSG who have a good record against Bordeaux for goals.

    -Double-
    Penarol v Nacional – BTTS
    PSG 2+ TGls

Main bet landed myself but I was a goal short here and there on the two half stake efforts. Definitely should’ve stuck to the game in Denmark and backed Brondby as I’d mentioned. Need to start having a bit more conviction at times, I think!

Just noticed a game in Costa Rica that is actually kicking off at Midnight. I can’t resist a nibble.

    Alajuelense v Saprissa

Two sides meeting in the ‘Quadrangular’ stage after finishing in the league’s top four. In the two games they played out in the regular season, Saprissa ran out 3-1 winners at home, while their meeting last month at Alajuelense saw a cracking 3-3 draw.

Saprissa come into this one in a great run of form. They are unbeaten in their last 11 games and scored 12 goals in their last 5 on the road (including that 3-3 draw in March). However, they only just kept their first clean sheet on the road in 10 games when winning 0-3 last time out.

They visit an Alajuelense side who scored 24 goals in their 11 home games with just two blanks on home soil dating back to September. With Saprissa’s away games often seeing goals at both ends, I really fancy a similar story to the 3-3 draw last month.

    Especially so at the prices.

    Half Stake:

    BTTS and O2.5 Match Goals @ 6/5 (Bet365)
