Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: Bronze can strike bronze for England

It's been a mixed tournament for Phil Neville's side who had high hopes of gold but will leave with bronze at best. At times England have looked the best attacking team in the tournament but ultimately defensive mistakes as well as a missed penalty cost them against tournament favourites and holders USA.

Third-place matches – or loser's finals as they are often dubbed – are for me a waste of time but England or Sweden will leave with bronze medals which is better than nothing and what they achieved four years ago.

Ellen White has been England's star woman and can still pip USA's Alex Morgan to the Golden Boot. She has six – and a tight offside rule denied her a seventh – and is 11-8 at Paddy Power to score and 4-1 to bag the opener.

Egypt strolled their group without conceding and stellar attackers Mo Salah and Ahmed Elmohamady have both netted twice.

On Friday my Top Treble looked like being beaten by Coco Gauff but she made a miraculous recovery to win from a set and 5-2 down. Senegal also triumphed with Sadio Mane on target but Morocco's last-minute spot-kick miss against Benin proved costly for me and them as they ultimately crashed out on penalties.
