IT'S a step up in class for Andy Murray at the Madrid Masters today as the Scot faces 16th seed Gilles Simon.

Murray beat the Frenchman on route to the title last year and will be hoping for a repeat against an opponent he's beaten in 13 of their 15 meetings.

The British No.1 is 1-4 favourite at Sportingbet with Simon a 19-4 shot at Boylesports for the win and 5-4 at Paddy Power to take a set.

The other third-round action includes Nick Kyrgios – who claimed the scalp of Stan Wawrinka yesterday – against Pablo Cuevas, world No.1 Novak Djokovic versus Roberto Bautista-Agut and Richard Gasquet against Kei Nishikori.

The night's NBA play-off game sees Toronto Raptors try to level the series against Miami Heat after losing the opener in their semi-final showdown.

There's also a big night of Premier League darts and don't forget to check out @lockuptipster's top picks for the Manchester drama.

And as usual let's hear all your own sporting tips and chat and good luck with your bets.

Dazzler, great work on the thread, totally new to Baseball but been having a flutter and watching the games and you have had a great run.

Out if interest, when placing the money line bets do you usually take the listed pitcher or action option?

I always take the listed pitchers option.
If either starting pitcher gets swapped out before the game starts the bet will be void.

With action you’re locked into the bet even if there are starting pitcher changes, and you don’t want that when betting on baseball.

No joy from Kyrie last night who fell 4 short of his points and assists despite not playing for the last 16 minutes.

    Goran Dragic (Heat) Over 22.5 PR&A @ 5/6 @ Betfair – 3.6 points

Also like Jonas Valanciunas (Raptors) Over 24 Points and Rebounds @ 5/6 @ Betfair

Hopefully I’ve picked the right one but both could be worth split stakes.
