IT was nice to make a winning comeback as the Top Treble won at 4-1.
England to score 2+ and Northern Ireland to win came in early and Holland scored late to bring up both to score away to Republic of Ireland.
On a quiet night I was happy with that and we move on to a Saturday dominated by two games – the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid and the Championship play-off final between Hull and Sheffield Wednesday.
Both look close calls and I've posted a full CL preview but the Wembley match is one I'm struggling to call. Both regular season games were draws and this could be another after 90 minutes although there is a feeling Hull's extra experience could see them through..
Elsewhere there are some more friendlies and matches in Scandinavia. Having checked team news and stats I'm adding a treble.

Difficult card in my opinion as even though there are club games on, you have to find out which players are away for internationals . Malmo go to Ostersunds in the Allsvenskan and travel with a decent squad and being able to keep top scorer out of the Icelandic European squad in Vidar Orn Kjartansson who has 5 goals this season and has netted in his last two consecutive. Anyway, most people don’t want to make a prediction on this afternoon’s playoff match I suppose because it could literally go any way.
I have made no secret of the fact there’s a beauty of a bet to be had in this match. Over 3.5 cards withbet365. I’ve given a good fortnight’s worth of reasoning in every championship playoff leg AND in the final half dozen or so matches that involved playoff rivals playing each other.
It has literally been like hoovering up money, it has romped in, in every playoff leg of the championship with ease. It has also romped home in the odd game where the bookies have raised the benchmark to 4.5 cards.
Rather stupidly, the bookies have stuck to the standard 3.5 cards. It pays 5/6 . This game is so important.
A few people hinted at sour grapes on my estimation of the how I felt this match would pan out. Absolutely not.
Hull have faired worse against the other top 6 teams than everyone else in the top 6. Deservedly, they slapped my beloved Derby down in that first leg, – statistically speaking they pulled off a great win against us, but when we played our best player Hughes in his proper role, Derby had Hull on the ropes for 90 mins in the 2nd leg. Thrilling stuff, but just a yard too far for us.
Sheffield Wed are more steadfast, more bullish and more resolute. Their defensive game is more dependable than Hull’s. Yes, Hull have promotion experience but this will be a game with few chances. A goalless first half is highly likely, if I am honest, I am not confident that either side will break the deadlock BUT…… Hull playing against a well ordered side will see a frustrating match. Under 2.5 goals is likely, as if a hit 0-0. BUT……. Supremely confident on today’s playoff final ref’s cards being sponsored by Clinton’s cards. Over 3.5 cards with bet365 @ 5/6 is gonna sail home. Every ball, every 2nd ball has to be fought for, the whole match has all the components for a card-fest.

Hi all, just feel i have been taken for a mug, i put a bet on marseille 2nd team to win , it had 74 min on in play page on PP . i went out room for a couple of min ,came back, game over , must have left room for about 3 min.
has anyone else been caught out on this, i did go to live chat, they said its up to me to get times from independant sources. not happy ,
archie, a lot of these minor games finish early and it’s something to be aware of. Doesn’t seem fair though.
it finished on 90 min. so i lost on about 13 min play. wish they would put correct time the game is at.
lesson learnt . wont do it again without getting time elsewhere.
