IT would take a brave man to pick a winner of the Premiership play-off final … Falkirk and Kilmarnock are tough to split and it could be a tie that goes all the way to the death on Sunday.
The Bairns battled brilliantly to edge out Hibs in the semis and Killie should push them even harder with players such as Josh Magennnis, Kris Boyd and Greg Kiltie testing a defence that's conceded at least two in eight of their last nine outings.
Both defences are rarely on top with Killie having conceded 10 in their last five – including four against relegated Dundee United on Saturday.
The stats suggest the way to go tonight is goals. There were nine in the semis and over 3.5 in both legs.
Both to score pays 4-5 with McBookie and Ladbrokes, over 2.5 goals is evens at William Hill and McBookie and over 3.5 pays 27-10 at McBookie.
This is Falkirk's fourth meeting with Premiership sides this season – winning one and losing two including a 7-0 mauling at Ross County.
Peter Houston's men are slight favourites for the first leg at 6-4 with William Hill while Killie are 11-5 at Coral and draw could be the sensible play at 5-2 with Ladbrokes.
They are 11-10 at William Hill to qualify with Kilmarnock 8-11 at Skybet. Again it's tough to call but if I was forced to pick I'd side with the Bairns as long as they avoid defeat tonight.
Home advantage in the second leg may actually be like a noose round Killie's necks as they've lost 11 in the league at Rugby Park and fans will be edgy if their side falls behind.

Falkirk to qualify
I’m hoping Falkirk pump them cos they’re my ‘local’ team, Livingston just up the road but Falkirk game was the 1st I went to against Dunfermline back in the day. Plus I hate Kris Boyd. MON THE BAIRNS
