MAR 7: MR FIXIT’S TOP TIPS (GOALS)

THERE are a few games that catch the eye this weekend for both to score and I'm starting with Augsburg v Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

This game hasn't traditionally been high scoring but Wolves are hungry for goals these days so it should buck the trend.

Wolfsburg won 5-3 at Werder Bremen last weekend with Dutchman Bas Dost taking his tally to 14 in nine games with a double. They have netted 15 in their last four league outings.

Augsburg last three homes games have totalled exactly 12 goals with both sides scoring in all of them including 2-2 draws with Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen.

Add two Scottish games to complete the treble. First up take Ross County v Partick Thistle in the Premiership.

Six out of nine meetings between the side in Dingwall have saw both score and it was 3-1 to County when they played at Firhill last month. County have won three in a row, scoring seven times in that spell, while the Jags will be boosted by last week's superb 2-0 victory at Dundee United.

Complete the treble with Brechin v Airdrie. This fixture has saw both teams score in the last nine meetings at Glebe Park including four 1-1 draws – one of the this season.

Brechin are unbeaten in 16 and not conceding too many but Airdrie have hit in three and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet.
