I NEED to get myself a new coin. I keep tossing it and it lands on the wrong side.
Again on Friday me bets were close – in fact one goal short on all three lines.
Barnsley were a disappoint as they drew 0-0 to beat the Super Single while Oxford couldn't see off Stevenage with 10 men to topple the Top Treble – and as I said I could have put in Portsmouth or Cheltenham and Sheffield Utd and Wycombe were also in my thoughts.
It was the same old story with the both to score treble with only Orient failing to net of the six teams I chose.
I'm hoping for better luck on Saturday as attention turns to the Scottish lower leagues and I've posted a separate preview.

Having watched the entire match it could be seen that they had effectively restrategized from being completley outplayed in the first half to absolutely suffocating Novara in the second fourty-five, and their opponents had no answer for it going down as 2-1 losers. Before that match Bari defeated Pro Vercelli 6-2 at home and I get a feeling they will use these six points to launch their assault up the table at the expense of Salernitana today. Salernitana find themselves just within the relegation zone mainly due to only winning six games but drawing and losing thirteen each. They have been defeated at home five times this season and I believe this will be increased today as they bump into an inform Bari team who are playing and scoring well.

Value bet of the day: St Neots v Frome Town, have been fortunate enough to of won small stakes on the last 3 Frome games. I’ve researched their upturn in fortunes and it appears recent recruitments have formed the foundation to current impressive run of form. Midweek I backed them away at promotion chasing Redditch Utd, and looked like coming away with the win until they were reduced to ten men, and then foiled by a late penalty, both decision ‘unfair ‘ by all accounts! St Neots sold their main goal scorer weeks back, and a recent change of management doesn’t appear to have improved much! Frome won the home fixture between these two only a couple of weeks ago, the result didn’t reflect Frome’s dominance on the day! I’m not hugely patriotic when it comes to England so there’s no rose-tinted specs at work but 4 or 5/1 is a huge price in a two horse race between these two footballing nations.

England are hard to watch sometimes. They played out their skin, played in the right way and scored 2 wonderful goals (plus nick it at the death deservedly). All in all nothing to dislike. Then you listen to them.

Nice one, they certainly played well enough 1st to think they were right in it but at 2-0 down that’s some turnaround. OK Germany weren’t great but England were excellent. Shame they will probably just revert to Rooney, Sterling, et al rather than stick with what was an excellent looking side.
