JUVENTUS have revenge on their minds when they welcome Real Madrid to the Allianz Stadium for tonight's Champions League quarter-final 1st leg.

The Italians copped a 4-1 hammering from Zinedine Zidane's team in last season's final in Cardiff but Real have struggled to hit those heights this term and the Champions League is their last remaining hope of silverware after a poor domestic campaign.

Both teams to score

Juve are notoriously stingy at the back in Serie A – Milan's consolation strike at the weekend was the first goal Max Allegri's side have conceded in 14 league fixtures.

But it's a different story on the Euro stage where the two legs of their last-16 tie with Spurs saw both teams scoring and plenty of chances. Real Madrid don't draw too many blanks and six of their last seven Champions League games this season have landed btts so take goals at both ends at 4-5.

Double chance

Juve haven't suffered defeat at home in Europe since April 2013 against Bayern Munich – an unbeaten run spanning 27 games. Despite that final defeat in Cardiff last May they've never lost at home to Real, winning four and drawing one.

Zinedine's men had an impressive win at below-par PSG in the last round but I'm backing Juve to keep the tie alive by avoiding defeat at 4-7.

Player to score

Gonzalo Higuain goes in against his old team as Juve's top scorer with 22 goals in 40 games. The Argentine's three goals in the two legs against Spurs proved crucial in squeezing his side through and it he's also on penalty duty, missing one against the Londoners.

The big striker is a player for the big occasion and 13-8 to get on the scoresheet any time.

Corners

For a Euro superpower Juve are notoriously corner shy. They rank 12th in the Serie A corner standings with an average of less than eight per game and their eight Champions League outings this season have had under 11 corners in six of them.

Real Madrid are averaging just over 11 corners per match in La Liga but under that mark is worth a risk at 8-11.

Bet Builder Tip

  • Both teams to score
  • Juve double chance
  • Higuain to score any time
  • Under 11 corners
  • (13-2, bet365)
