THE biggest of all the tennis Grand Slam starts today and we're anticipating some top tips from the likes of big mac and Johnb.
There's money to be made, especially in the early rounds, and my tactic is to back hot favourites to win or to win 3-0 if they're too short.
Let's get all your Wimbledon thoughts here and to kick us off I've got a couple of tips – with the accumulator counting in my top tips stats.
3pts 1st Rd Fivefold
Djokovic to beat J Ward 3-0 (Mon)
Berankis to beat Willis (Mon)
Murray to beat Broady 3-0 (Tues)
Johnson to beat Jaziri (Mon)
Goffin to beat A Ward 3-0 (Mon)

Murray v Djokovic final (13-8, bet365)
Muguruza to win women's singles (5-1, 188BET)
Wimbledon women’s tournament 2016
Jelena Ostapenko 175/1 skybet
This bet might come as a surprise to people but Ostapenko has been flying under the radar for a while now,
The 19 year old Latvian is one of the best young tennis players about,
At Birmingham last week she lost in the quarterfinals to Madison Keys 6-7 6-4 6-2
This came after a cracking second round match where she beat Petra Kvitova 6-4 4-6 6-3
Away from grass she has recently beaten opponents like Kristina Mladenovic 6-3 6-1
Monica Puig 6-1 6-1
Daniela Hantuchova 6-1 6-1
Kristyna Pliskova 6-3 6-4
Timea Babos 7-6 2-6 6-3
As well as beating Petra Kvitova twice
Ostapenko turned pro in 2012 and has risen to 36 in the world,
When I watch her play I see a woman that is very at home on grass and it’s probably her favoured surface,
She was the Wimbledon Girls Champion in 2014
For an outsider she has in my opinion an outstanding chance of not only going far at Wimbledon but winning it,
She has said she loves grass but when you have a game like she does then you are going to love grass.
Ostapenko dictates play in her matches, this is a key component for grass
Her aggressive style of play and her power will frighten anyone she plays at Wimbledon
The attacks are relentless and when you see her forehand it’s frightening
At Edgbaston she showed off her skills on grass, she has a big serve she hits the ball deep and her accuracy of hitting the lines is exceptional.
Jelena Ostapenko when asked about playing at Wimbledon 2016
“I just want to try and go as far as I can, because if I play my best, I think I can do well there”
Her first round match is against Kiki Bertens with Ostapenko the 8/13 favourite
Worth a few quid John b and the further she goes the higher the cash out. ?
First two rounds look plain sailing for her, 3rd round probably Simona Halep and 4th round probably Madison Keys,
5th round could be Ana Ivanovic, semi final could be Muguruza
isn’t she the one who threw her racket at a ballboy earlier this year, hitting the ballboy on his napper ? while playing one of the british girls I think…..
Yes it was the Naomi Broady game but she didn’t throw it at him and it missed him by quite a bit
if you fancy an alternative you could back ostapenko to win her quarter of the draw.
3rd quarter odds are
Madison keys 5-2
a kerber 3-1
s halep 5-1
k pliskova 11-2
a ivanovic 12-1
ostapenko 25-1.
Florien Mayer v Dominic Thiem (Tuesday 11:30am)
The 32 year old German is ranked 80 in the world
On grass this year he is 9 wins 1 loss and a career 36 wins 18 losses,
He won the Halle tournament beating
Brian Baker 7-5 7-6
Kei Nishikori walkover
Andreas Seppi 7-6 6-3
Dominic Thiem 6-3 6-4
Alexander Zverev 6-2 5-7 6-3 final
Dominic Thiem is a 22 year old Austrian ranked 8 in the world who has had a good season but grass is by far his worst surface and his coach has admitted that the season is starting to take its toll on the Austrian
In 2004 Mayer reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon which is his best slam result
He has a unique and creative style of play, his most favourite shot is his double-handed backhand slice, he likes and plays well his drop shots which are effective on grass, he also likes his chip and charge to finish the point, with his array of shots it makes him tricky to play against especially on grass against an opponent who dislikes the surface,
If players do get break points against Mayer then Mayer has a 60% stat for saving break points on grass,
He wins 73% of first serve points on grass & 52% of second serve points and has won 83% of his service games on grass although in Halle recently this was up to 90%+ in some games
With Thiem so bad on grass as he admits himself plus a hard season, I see Mayer as one of the main bets for the first round

do you give kyle Edmund a shout of beating mannarino in the 1st match on today, odds 6-4.
ive heard good things about this young man recently,
over 3.5 sets double pays 5-4
dan evans v j struff
monfils v j chardy
add isner v baghdatis to make it 9-4 treble
Yeah he has a decent chance especially with the home fans, won’t be easy though, could be a 5 setter,
I even fancy James Ward to take a set off Djokovic
he hasn’t played more than 3 sets on grass before, so if he is to win I think it will have to be 3-1 or 3-0.
he hadn’t won on grass for 3 years before queens but he beat simon there and took a set off murray which is encouraging.
