JOHANNA KONTA has been cut to 10-1 for the Eastbourne Open tennis title after claiming another impressive top-20 scalp.

The British No.1 – who was a 40-1 shot pre-tournament – hit back from a set down to sink Petra Kvitova and reach the quarter-finals where the line-up today sees title favourite Agnieszka Radwanska against Dominika Cubilkova and Monica Puig versus Kristina Mladenovic.

At the men's Nottingham Open there's no British interest in the last eight after Dan Evans crashed out yesterday and the likes of Kevin Anderson and Gilles Muller look to book a semi-final spot today.

Elsewhere, rugby league strugglers Huddersfield look for change of fortune when they host Wakefield in tonight's Challenge Cup clash.

There's also the likes of cricket and baseball on the go so as usual let's hear your sporting tips and chat.

    Evening gents,

Those follow the NFL might remember me from the props I suggested prior to the NFL draft. Tonight (well, tomorrow morning) is the NBA draft and whilst I am not an avid college ball fan, 1 prop has very much caught my eye.

2 players stand heads and shoulders above all others in this draft, they are Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram. Simmons is the projected 1st overall, though some teams will have no problem taking Ingram 1st as there are supposedly questions surrounding Simmons work ethic and immaturity.

With the first 2 picks pretty much in the bag, Celtic is picking 3rd, and although they have made multi attempt to trade the pick, there has been no takers. With Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas at point and Even Turner and Avery Bradley at SG, it’s hard to imagine the Celtic would take another guard unless they are drafting by the ‘take the best player available’ approach. Even so, there are multiple players in-play for them. If we are talking PG, best PG in the draft is Kris Dunn, best SG is probably Buddy Hield and if the Celtics are drafting by need, then they will take either Bender (LOL) or Chriss.

Betfair and Bet365 seems to be the only 2 bookies offering this Jamal Murray prop.

Bet365 had him at 2/7 for over, and in writing this, they have shortened it to 4/11.
Betfair still has him at 4/6 to go over 3.5

I am almost 100% convinced they have got this wrong, and I am willing to part with a fair bit of my bank on him to go over 3.5 with Betfair. The only thing that could threaten this bet in my opinion, is if Celtics trade the pick, but either way, it is a risk I am willing to take.

Again, please note I am not a massive college BB fan so think what you will of this.

You are now guaranteed to make a profit with Bet365 offering Jamal Murray under 3.5 at 13/8 and Betfair offering over 3.5 at 6/4.

Is this free money? Am I being really daft here gents…..? :s

Good luck with those @primetime, I’ll be watching. Already posted my first NFL bet yesterday. Packers to win back the North :D

Really like the look of Ezekiel Elliott to rush for Over 1110.5 Yards. 4/5 @ 365. Only 50 more than the total they have for Eddie Lacy haha. Drew Brees Over 4835.5 Passing Yards could be decent too. Has done so in his last 5 seasons and with Coby Fleener from free agency and Michael Thomas in the draft, he has some extra weapons to throw to.
