On a positive note my outright tips are all still in and I aim to play it safer with a nice treble today.
Hawkins to win vs fergal o Brian 3/10 – Hawkins is a consistent player, making quarter finals and semi finals and finals in his last 5 tournaments. I expect his experience and confidence at the minute to see him through his game.
Lisowski to win vs tian pengfei 4/9 – Lisowski is a young man going from strength to strength pm the tour , especially over shorter formats. He is full of confidence and not afraid to take big breaks on. He plays a very inexperienced qualifier and I expect him to get through this game with ease
Wollaston to win vs zhe 2/5 – similarly Wollaston is a young player on the up and he is playing so,e phenomenal games with some big breaks on the tour. He plays again an inexperienced qualifier and I expect him to do well here

Ellis, if they do the draw as per ranking it will be a Nadal-Murray quarter-final. Then Murray could have Federer and finally Djokovic if he gets through them. Couldn’t be any tougher.

Explanation for 4fold…
Serve is important weapon in grass but ifyou do mot have opponent who has impressive serve like opponents today you have solid chance to win… Kudla Symczek Stebe are all better player in rallys which is longer than 3 shots… Both 3 players are also more experienced ones and they do better in critical points… Baker is not high level player as other 3 but has game plan always and also has home advantage. Kunitsyn is not old Kunitsyn and suffering on self confidence compartment nearly for a years and his serve is not clicking as it does in past.
Hawkins up 3 frames to 2. Looking good so far. Come on Hawkins

ellis, just in from walking the dug and buying hayfever tablets (for me not the dog). Nice treble and as I said no one can be judged on one day’s tipping, it’s a long-term process. You and Winning Insights got some stick for one bad day and that’s totally out of order. I’ll always put up a mixture of winners and losers, have good days and bad days, that’s just betting for you.

That’s right MrF, no one can be 100% everyday with there tips no matter how good a tipster they are. And you got to take the bad days and keep your head up and look to the next day.
