ENGLAND v Wales should have been a dress rehearsal for England v Scotland – the real Battle of Britain.
But Gareth Bale has been on a one-man mission to crank up the hype and he's done a good job.
Today's Group B encounter promises to be a cracker and hopefully we'll see goals, cards, thrills and spills in what could be the best match of the tournament.
Bale's already walked the walk with his side's opener in their 2-1 win against Slovakia and the Welsh are in a great position compared to England who drew with Russia when they deserved more.
Before the tournament I had England marked down as a banker but now I don't want to touch them at a short price of 3-5 at Stan James.
I feel they'll win but Wales will be on a high and with Bale anything can happen. They are a best 6-1 at McBookie and bet365 with the draw paying 16-5 at McBookie and Ladbrokes.
Instead of backing the WDW I'm looking at England to score 2+ at 4-5 with Betfred and over 2.5 match goals at 6-5 with Betfred.
Roy Hodgson's men played well against Russia but failed to see the match out and I don't think they'll make the same mistake today as long as the manager is more positive.
For Wales it's all about Bale and he is 7-1 at BetBright to score first and 27-10 with 888sport to net at any time.
Harry Kane is the 9-2 favourite at Paddy Power but never got a sniff against Russia and strangely took the corners. However, he is likely to keep his place so for a goal I may look at Spurs team-mate Dele Alli who is 10-3 at Coral to net at any time.
Bale is 16-1 with bet365 to repeat his Slovakia trick against Joe Hart with another free-kick goal
Any current Spurs player is 4-1 to be booked for fouling the former Tottenham man while the Welsh flying machine is 16-1 to be booked for diving, 66-1 to be sent off and 10-3 to outscore Kane in Lens.
It's a derby match and could be fiery but the bookings total is set high with over 4.5 cards paying 11-10 at bet365.
And remember bet365 are doing their free inplay offer.
