IT'S Ireland v Ibrahimovic today – and while no country is a one-man team Martin O'Neill will be sure to target the Swedish superstar.

Ibrahimovic dragged the Swedes kicking and screaming to France through the play-offs and will be keen to impress on the international stage for the final time.

If it wasn't for the presence of Zlatan – in the city where he's made his name at PSG – I'd be looking at the Irish to win.

But while they're a solid side they don't have anyone of that ability and O'Neill would probably settle for a point ahead of tougher games against Belgium and Italy.

The draw pays 2-1 at Coral while Sweden are pretty hot favourites at 6-4 with Paddy Power. Ireland are a best 5-2 with Betfred.

Ireland haven't won in their last five at the main event while Sweden have just three wins in 14 games at Euro finals- and those stats lend more weight to the stalemate.

A 1-1 draw has a nice ring to it and that pays 11-2 at William Hill.

Most popular bet of the night will be Ibrahimovic to score at 7-4 with 888sport while he is 4-1 at Paddy Power to break the deadlock.

An alternative Swede scorer is Emil Forsberg who was set up by his more illustrious team-mate in last week's friendly victory against Wales. The wideman is 6-1 at Paddy Power to net and 14-1 to score first.

Shane Long is Ireland's dangerman in the absence of Robbie Keane who could make an appearance off the bench. The Southampton star is 13-2 at 888sport to score first and 16-5 to net.

Not too hard on Ireland thankfully. I’ll be doing Ibra atgs.
And instead of counting sheep trying to get to sleep(can’t sleep with the excitement) I was thinking about players that get booked regularly for Ireland. McClean, he’ll probably come off the bench, expect him to get booked when he’s on. And Longs a terror for getting booked too.
Just hope we do better than the Norn Iron lads did today.
