THREE of my four recommended bets on the men's semi-finals came up as Andy Murray and Milos Raonic set up a final showdown on Sunday.
I went with Raonic to break serve first and over 3.5 sets in his match against Roger Federer and backed Murray for most aces versus Tomas Berdych. However, I went for over 3.5 sets and Murray strolled it in three.
Saturday sees Serena Williams face Angelique Kerber in the women's final and it's a repeat of the Aussie Open final won by the German.
Serena's been her usual dominant self all week and I expect her to wreak revenge. She is no bigger than 3-10 with Paddy Power and Coral while Kerber is 3-1 at McBookie and bet365.
Kerber won't be overawed and I'm going for a three-set match at 2-1 with Ladbrokes.
Big mac, Johnb and others have been prolific with their Wimbledon tips so let's see everyone's thoughts here.
Recommended Bets
Williams v Kerber over 2.5 sets
(2-1, Ladbrokes)
Yep agree with that bet of 3 sets looks rock.If Kereber is going to win think it will be 2-1.Should be a good match.Kerber is big in a 2 horse race.
If Williams plays like she has the last 2 weeks this looks a good one.To win, serve most aces and least double faults 13/8 Skybet.
Wow, was some performance by Williams, thought kerbed played well.
keith madden, was competitive but Kerber never really looked like breaking serve.
Ya true fixit, think most other players wouldn’t have lasted that long though, Williams at near best
