THE Betfred Cup continues with some top ties including Inverness v Dundee Utd, Hamilton v St Mirren and St Johnstone v Falkirk.
Caley Thistle and United were top-flight rivals last season and United have lost on just one of their four visits to Inverness.
Both are rebuilding and United hit top gear in midweek with a 6-1 rout of Cowdenbeath after needing penalties to take care of Arbroath.
Inverness have played just once, beating Beath 2-1, and the sides could be tough to split with best bet being both to score at 8-13 with Betfred.
Another interesting one is Hamilton v St Mirren. Accies have already been shocked by Ayr while the Buddies have started with two good wins.
Accies need something to happen soon but I'm not keen to back them even if Betfred are offering 13-10. Saints are 13-5 at Ladbrokes while I'm tempted by Saints draw no bet at 13-8 with Ladbrokes. This returns stake if it's a draw.
Another entertaining game could be Partick Thistle v Queen of the South and this is another that promises goals with over 2.5 paying evens at William Hill. Queens are going for three wins in a row and draw no bet tempts at 2-1 with Betfred.
St Johnstone are the highest-ranked side in the group stage and started with a win at Elgin. Tommy Wright's side face a tough test at home to Falkirk but should pick up the points and are 5-6 at Betfred to do so.
Motherwell travel to Annan and Mark McGhee's men will be looking for points after losing their opener to Rangers. The Premiership side are 2-5 at Betfred.
Complete a treble with holders Ross County, who have hung on to most of their main men, at home to Raith and Ayr at home to Edinburgh City who found Livi too hot to handle in midweek.
