MY main bets hail from the English Lower Leagues as Darlo take on a poorly Blyth side in a game already highlighted by Jamie Kennedy on his new acca page.

I'm also including an all-Essex derby game featuring 2 sides hovering around the drop zone but (like Darlo) with plenty of games in hand!

But first, a quick stop-off in Iran for a game that may not go nuclear on the goals front but could be worth a little tickle.

MES KERMAN VS. CHOOKA TALESH

(10.30am)

Recommended Bet

  • OVER 2.5 GOALS
  • (7/5, bet365) ⭐

DARLO VS. BLYTH

(3.00pm)

I watched Darlo get stuffed by Bristol in the cup but they didn't deserve that scoreline and have a respectively good squad for their level.

They have 5 or 6 games in hand on the majority of their opponents but they have to make that work for themselves and not against them!

What could be better than a visit from NorthEast locals and ailing rivals Blyth – the only thing Spartan at the moment being their points tally!

Goals look the obvious way to go but I'm not sure it will be a massive scoreline and instead reckon a combination of a Darlo brace coupled with a corners tally built up from the hosts could be the way to go.

Recommended Bet

  • DARLO OVER 1.5 TEAM GOALS
  • OVER 9.5 MATCH CORNERS
  • (7/5, bet365) NAP ⭐⭐⭐⭐

BILLERICAY VS. BRAINTREE (3.00pm)

There seems to be a preponderance of 2nd half goals with both sides and it was a market that served me well a couple of seasons back when highlighting and following ‘Ricay's fortunes.

H2Hs have seen both on the scoresheet regularly and I'm putting these two ‘leads' together for a (hopefully) nifty betbuilder

Recommended Bet

Goals Longshot

  • Weymouth
  • Alfreton
  • Chester
  • Curzon Ashton
  • Leamington
  • York
  • Billericay
  • BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 7-FOLD
  • (28/1, bet365) LONGSHOT ⭐

Best of luck!

Darlo earned a creditable draw against a stronger and fitter Spennymoor outfit on Saturday despite gusys of wind up to 30mph.
It was rthe first point they had earned at home this season but are playing well enough to suggest a win tosday.
Conditions a lot calmer today (less wind but freezong cold) but should suit Darlo better.
Need to win the games in hand and begin to climb the table.
A few injury doubts today Laing is deinetly out but Reid who replaced him ater 30 mins on Saturday is a ideal stand in

I can see A Darlo win and Over 2.5 goals

Looking like the flood gates could open here – 3-0 already…too many goals usually see the corner counts diluted so fingers crossed!

Appears a lot of midfield play after going 3 up but late goals put a convincing win on the score line
