IT'S a decent Sunday card but all roads lead to Gigg Lane and goals may well join the black pudding on a menu that is mouthwatering.
Bury v Luton
Luton are joint top scorers in League One with 39 while a resurgent Shakers sit clear top in League Two with 38 – as habitual low scorers it’s an impressive stat for Bury and we are playing a very rare brand of attacking football that’s not been seen for many a long year.
Problem is Luton are a class above the teams we have been playing and our patchy defence will need to be on their A game but do our defence have an A game. No.
But we do have an offensive line from midfield up that knows no other way and this really could be an absolute cracker with Mayor and Maynard likely to be testing the Hatters back four all afternoon.
Luton have a decent travelling support and it ought to be a great atmosphere as we enter a round of the competition we rarely get to – I just cannot see us failing to score but I also cannot see us keeping a very solid Luton side out for 90 minutes.
Recommended Bets
Heading straight from Bury to Bolivia this evening on the betting front and I reckon The Strongest will have way too much for Aurora as they look to finally stake their claim at the top of the table.
