UNDER WRAPS (5.15) moves into handicap company with a real shout at Chelmsford City.
John Gosden's filly has shown some promise in three starts in novice and maiden grade, and the daughter of Kingman can exploit what is a fairly lenient opening mark.
VOI (7.15) has been a bit expensive to follow but she should go close in the 1m 2f handicap. She holds Kentucky Kingdom on their running here behind Bayston Hill and first-time cheekpieces may eke out a little improvement.
At Southwell, course winner EQUIDAE (3.45) is a fair price in the 7f handicap. Iain Jardine landed quite a gamble with Blowing Dixie earlier in the week and Equidae's recent third to Daafr 17 days ago was another solid effort.
David Simcock is doubly represented in the one-mile maiden handicap and DR JEKYLL (1.45) gets the nod over stable companion Morlaiv. The selection has been off the track for almost a year but his course and distance third to Charlie Arthur probably sets the standard.
