Racing Tips: Thursdays Free Horse Racing Tips at Sandown and Chelmsford

It was another winning day at the office and a pretty good one at that with Golden Sands winning at advised odds of 10/1!

My short-priced selection jumped like a snooker table and that ultimately ruined any chances on that one.

I haven't had much time to study tomorrow's cards and therefore only have 1 main selection for tomorrow from the meeting at Sandown.

I've also included another selection from the evening meeting at Chelmsford which marks the return of jockey Oisin Murphy.

You wear it well 13/8 – 2:25 Sandown

A small field but a cracking little race that I'm looking forward too.

I think Jamie Snowdens mare is the one they all have to beat.

She comes into this with clearly the better form compared to her other rivals with the key piece of form coming from her last run at Newbury over the Christmas period where she out ran her 16/1 odds to finish 2nd behind the Nicholls trained Hermes Allen.

The form of that race to be honest couldn't work out any better for my selection as there's been multiple winners come out of it.

Passing Well who finished 4th and also trained by Snowden went on to win next time out.

Crambo who actually pulled up on the day has since won and Marble Sands who finished 5th has since when on to win the Sidney Banks beating Rare Edition and Ginnys Destiny in the process.

From what I can see Gordon Elliots Deeply Superficial will be the main danger and comes into this with some strong form when finishing 4th in the grade 2 Navan novice hurdle although has since had a wind op and Elliot has opted for the tongue tie tomorrow so there's certainly some question marks there.

Jupiter Express 2/1 – 6:00 Chelmsford

Worth noting for you flat racing fans like myself that tomorrow marks the return of Oisin Murphy after his ban.

He has a sole ride tomorrow for Mick Appleby which I expect to go close. I'm not going to bother doing a write up on it as ill be more watching for the interest given hes been out of the game for so long but we all know how talented he is as a rider.

I will add it as a selection at the bottom given Mick's yard are in decent nick.
