Silver Forever did prove she was a class above the field yesterday, as she won with plenty in hand. Chilli Filli actually ran a big race to finish runner-up, and that gave me the impression that she wasn't 100% fit when she was a winning tip for us at Market Rasen, so I'd be happy to back her again in the future.

I'm going to be having a small play on the Sue Gardner trained, TRANS EXPRESS. This horse has won this particular race the last four times, which is some going. I think he will be quietly supported for that face, so I don't think we'll get an amazing price, but if they were ever to target him for one race all season, it would be this one. His recent form is a concern, but as a result his handicap mark has dropped down, and he should be fit for this run. He gets in this race right at the bottom of the weights, similar to the three of the last four times he has won this race (10st 2lbs – 10st 4lbs), so that should also be a big help for him. Off his current mark of 102 he is very well handicapped, but he is getting on in age. However, fingers crossed he runs well, and if there are some decent prices left available I think a small ew bet would be wise.

Off a mark of 98 I think there is definitely a horse in DALKINGSTOWN who should be getting competitive in a race like this. He showed that he has ability in his bumper days, where he managed to finish 1st and 2nd on three of his four runs in that sphere. However, even though he looked to have a bit of speed about him a couple of years ago, he definitely comes across more of a staying type. That statement can be backed up by his hurdles win at this track over 3m on heavy ground, where he travelled through that ground like it was nothing, and stayed on strongly to the line. With the ground being similar today, there is no reason why the same can't happen. He gets into this race off a decent weight of 11st, and his current handicap mark is far from being high, and is up against exposed horses, for the most part. He has yet to shine over fences, but now he races over 3m 1.5f and gets soft ground, this could be the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his talent again.

one of those days where it’s probably best not to post, but for interest i am chancing, not really studied at all so caution advised.
2.36s – DELUXE MAGIC 10/1 ew, nothing really to go on and only two places paid.
4.15s – KIND REVIEW 7/1 ew 4 places, good AW combo not overly convinced he can win, won off 3 higher in a better grade.
3.40s – LITTLE PRAYER 12/1 ew Richard Spencer is bang in form, has plenty out here today, will chance but even a place looks tough at the prices.
13.31s – QAARAAT 12/1 ew 5 places, well out of form so enough to take on trust, very highly tried this year without much success, close 3rd off this mark 3 starts back,risky.

12.22s – NOT NOW ZEB 9/1 ew let down 3 trebles for me last week, I needed a top 3 finish for 1700 from 15, to rub salt in the wounds the trainers other won the race. The horse opened at 14s and touched 7/2 so I didn’t cash out and was far from impressed when a pig would’ve given a better account, it was pushed along over 1f in a 5f dash. On that basis we cannot back but it was too bad to be true, it didn’t look good visually either but it’d be typically it won today so I will be on. Only chance if like me you enjoy keeping the bookies in business.

kind review backed in like it couldn’t be beat. it looked like all the jockeys had a nibble too haha. lovely winner, shame it couldn’t be doubled up with the others, but two places means £22 profit in a 50p L15, had the 4th horse placed (4th when backed ew top 3).. it would’ve been £125 profit, not bad, hope some profitted. cya 2moro campers.

up bright and early 3 am log into mrfixtips, this guy is so mesmerizing, cardinal of information. inside knowledge of racing makes booking run for cover. i.e. horse backed from 7/1 into 2/1 all the jockeys backed it also. barry ‘the bismarck’ dennis was on the trumpet 1/2 hour go. watch out for this kid, he is going places.
