REEVES (1.10) completed his hat-trick over six furlongs at Wolverhampton in mid-December, overcoming an unpromising position to score going away. He previously scored twice over seven furlongs at Chelmsford City and is just preferred to course and distance winner Mohareb.

At last, some decent and proper racing tomorrow. Cracking cards at Warwick and Kempton, doing my annual trip to Warwick always a good w/end away. Decent priced selections, hopefully turn into decent price winners. No short-priced JOLLY’S here, gambling over 35 years rather pack-up gambling all together then back/tip/nap short-price JOLLY’S.
1.50 W Ardlethen 7/2 MBS SKYBET. Won a decent contest at Chepstow on his chasing bow before coming up against Sam Spinner at Wetherby. He was last of 3 in a muddling Grade 2 at Newbury but was in front too soon that day and H. Skelton will be able to ride him with more restraint here. Highest Sun 11/4 only won a match at Plumpton and looks a tricky ride, Two for Gold 4/1 looks the main danger having won at Carlisle and Kelso.
3.35 W Silver Sheen 12/1 E/W. Most firms paying 4. Stoney Mountain 8/1 runner-up in Grade 2 novices race on this card last year, reappeared in October with a victory at Aintree then followed up with a Grade 3 handicap at Haydock. Tedham 11/2 was staying on strongly at the finish in that Haydock contest and should be involved again. My selection has been impressive in maiden and novice company and makes his handicap debut here. J Harrington’s only runner here today, sending 1 Horse over the Irish Sea she has booked R Power for the ride. Expect a big run from him today.
1.30 K Mercian Prince 7/1 Has won this for the last 2 years and is only 2lbs higher than 12 months ago. A recent run over hurdles at Catterick should have put him spot-on to complete hat-trick.

445 Snow Leopard upped 4f for only his 3rd hcap start, hasnt shown up yet, he opened the day at 7s and is now 4s.
515 Onebaba hasnt won in his 8 hcaps to date, he was 2nd in a claimer race off 3lbs lower with some 90 rated horses in behind, he followed up off 70 at this track and is now rated 68, not looked at anything else but looks to be there or thereabouts, 6/1 means the place market is viable, 11/8 for top 3.
645 Knockabout Queen 11/4 was a neck 2nd lto over CD, Franny takes over and he remains on the same mark, 60. He won on debut off 70 but hasn’t won since besides twice at Bath off 53 and 59.
