FANCY FOOTINGS (2.30) looked a natural on Fibresand when scoring by a wide margin at Southwell 20 days ago and is fancied to defy an 8lb hike.
That was the gelding's first outing for Tom Dascombe since a switch from Joseph O'Brien and he wins the vote over hat-trick seeking Suitcase ‘n' Taxi, up 6lb for his latest success, and course winner Young John.
THE RESDEV WAY (3.05) outran his loud price when a close third to Bodacious Name under 10-stone here 17 days ago and Phil Kirby's gelding shouldn't be inconvenienced by this shorter distance. He has a little bit in hand of Tynecastle Park on a collateral form line through Shine Baby Shine.

BELLA BRAZIL 14/1 big outsider, comes with risks as has only been tried once over 7f, 5/15. She won her 2nd start beating some horses who’ve done well since, it was over 6 on turf but I’ll chance at the prices, hard to ignore the haggas horse in these silks who’ve had some winners recently but this horse let me down when a big fav last time so I won’t be backing it.

OCEAN PARADISE may have found a more suitable level, WJ Knight’s name has popped up a couple times recently, AW debut but on his turf debut was 2nd, beating a 105 C1 winner.. enough reason for me to do a split stake despite market weakness.

TOROCHICA was towards the rare last week and made headway to get 2nd. At a different track, only 219yrds more, with a better position hopefully he can go one better off the same mark but it isn’t too straightforward, I will be using his 8/11 top 3 as part of an acca.

the claimer has been on the horse 3 times and failed to win which is a minor concern.

up against an even money fav, have only looked at the selection so not ideal to tip but kingscote doing well and i am happy to be on against a even money debutant.
a concern is, roger varian is putting out a few good winners recently, and enough of them are winning first time out so bet accordingly and although the price will be poor, add the horse above in a place market treble (with the one below too)

5th on debut, middleham park sent out a few winners recently so has BOTTI and MUSCUTT does ride winners for him, this’ll be a better price in place market to add to those above but i will also back the single..
PLACE TREBLE and singles, recommend checking the markets, especially on affluence, huge field, bet late obviously if it goes beyond 5/1 it won’t look too well.
