IT was a strange one with Our Lord on Friday who was not allowed to run his race. To cover a horse up on the rail that needs a fast pace is suicidal.

Although only winning by a head on debut he looked different class. I was really impressed and Ryan Moore gave him a great learning ride. This is a big step up in class from a class 4 to a group 3 but Purser could be up to it. I think he is.

Has 8lb to find on Aljaazi but I do like her, last week Intimation was 13lb wrong with Rain Godess and although she was second she was unlucky and should have won but was short of room. The time before that she was second to Laugh Aloud at Goodwood. Ryan Moore should be a positive booking but he is yet to win on her after two rides.

This one is a confident pick today from me as really like this horse and the ground seems to be drying up in his favour.
Will stick with Johnb and dbl up Masar with his NAP

Although the Albany Stakes has proved its form is better than the Chesham Stakes Masar still has by far the best form, Purser has the potential and it’s worth noting that when Ryan Moore got off Purser on debut he said “this is a group horse”

Terrible ride on Purser looks a good horse though.
Think we have just seen next years 2000 Guineas winner in PURSER, no luck in running today and Dettori has taken it a bit easy with a hands and heels ride, definitely a serious contender for the Guineas and I have seen enough to go back in again on him

@Johnb Purser 33/1 with 3 bookies did you think it was unlucky to win today’s race ? IMO best horse won the race and the money before hand said it all Yeh Purser was unlucky in its run but the further they went the better Masar looked it was pulling away near the line.
Av followed you in with Clemmie and Magical but Purser makes no appeal to me.
