EURO IMPLOSION (4.20) was rewarded for some consistent efforts by scoring at Musselburgh and Ripon, and a 4lb rise for that latest success looks generous.
Keith Dalgleish sends his gelding to Catterick for a 1m 4f handicap and odds of 11-4 are generous, especially with a few welcome showers forecast to hit the north Yorkshire track.
STORMIN TOM (2.50) dug deep for a narrow victory at Ripon and remains very well handicapped on old form. He was a close second to Sea Youmzain over course and distance a year ago and races here off a much lower mark.
At Musselburgh, CATCH MY BREATH (4.10) can be rewarded for his consistency. John Ryan's gelding has been placed on five of his last six outings and first-time cheek-pieces almost did the trick at Newmarket 12 days ago when headed close home. This isn't a strong 1m 1f handicap.
FIRSTEEN (3.40) is trading at an attractive each-way price in the 7f fillies' handicap. She scored at Redcar at a time when trainer Alistair Whillans was running into form following a barren spell and Firsteen did well from a poor draw last time out at Newcastle. Caustic Love has been well placed by Dalgleish and is up another 5lb for her latest success at Ripon.
