At Ascot, DUCKETT'S GROVE (3.25) is interesting on his handicap debut. Ed Walker's colt, the sole three-year-old in the line-up, ran fifth to very smart private Secretary and Spanish Mission in a 1m 3f Listed event at Goodwood, weakening over a furlong out. This shorter trip should be ideal and Duckett's Grove is a bit of value against favourite American Graffiti.

Came 3rd in champion novice hunter at Stratford in may, a good effort that, jumps really well and travels well through his races, stables last 2 runners have won too.
Pretty sure 9-4 will be shorter by the off

Mountain Rescue 12/1 545A, up 3lbs for a win LTO, steps up a class and seemingly prefers Newmarket but was winning last May off 90 for Charlie Wall, will run today off 74 at 12/1.. NOT THOROUGHLY CHECKED THE RACE AT ALL, but for small stakes in case anyone has some spare change.

i looked at it whilst making an acca and left it alone.
these silks obviously love chester, and the last two weeks they’ve smashed it and they’ve already had a 25/1 winner on the card, so you have to expect at least one more to go in.
POWERALLIED won over CD off 85, last july, tonight he is 4lbs lower. the 2nd is a pig, dropped about 25lbs before winning. the 3rd and 4th horses he beat that day arent too bad though. the worry is, last time he was on CD and came a close up 2nd, so it looks as though that was his trying day, the horse who won failed next time out and Zappa Case wasnt too far bad in third who did well a few months back but by the time this race came around he was spent.
He’s gone up 1lb for that 2nd so is well capable I suppose but definitely not for me.
BOSSIPOP – has beaten some nice horses over CD last Sept and only 2lbs above that. 1lbs lower than his last win.
ALSVINDER – has won 3 outta 5 on the AW off a highest 98, he runs on turf off 79, performed poorly over CD lto, but has won class 2s, this is C4.
BOWSON FRED – decent form decently weighted…
DESERT ACE – up 4lbs for win LTO, horse in 3rd has won since.. trainer had couple winners big luke morris takes over…
BELLEVARD – decently weighted, beat PUDS and he has done well in class 2s recently, decent chance back on last win mark
Zac Brown – 4lbs higher than win 2 starts back, rich kingscote though.. probably wont touch this either but mayve been pulled recently which is good sign but no.
there are like 4 more horses… I HOPE your horse wins, but this is a 100% cash out for me, paper form giving half the field a great chance and the other half a shout… BOL.

ah that is shocking, however dont turn your nose up at 56, what if you took that & put it on a treble 2moro which you wouldn’t necessarily do and it landed for four figures… using 1 from alan, 1 from pom 1 from yourself…. etc.
the 4lbs below CD success is solid enough and it clearly has a good chance, so letting it ride on based on that offer is well within reason, however a free 56 treble for 2moro is almost as good as 350, good luck
