CHAMPAGNE RHYTHM (1.20) has been placed on his last four starts, three coming over course and distance, and the Evan Williams-trained gelding has been found a golden opportunity in the 2m 3f maiden hurdle at Chepstow.
Nicky Henderson’s Paris Dixie has had a wind procedure since running fifth at Wincanton 98 days ago. She was runner-up over course and distance back in October on good ground, so today’s muddy conditions present a new challenge.
Many punters don’t look past Venetia Williams runners on heavy ground, so JURYS OUT (4.00) will be on their radar in the 3m 2f handicap chase.
The Wincanton runner-up is lumbered with 12st 2lb but should still be involved. The Manuscript was sent-off favourite at Warwick 22 days ago but after racing in the van throughout, faded in the straight.
