Wednesday was nearly a very good day, which would've supplied us with a nice Christmas present. If the third horse, Llandinabo Lad won the treble (if you put it on) would've been around 50/1, unfortunately, he finished as runner-up.
The other two horses on the day won, and won well, if was nice to see Some Detail finally repay me after backing him a fair few times. Harry Cobden gave him a good ride and he benefitted from a pace collapse.

I feel like a wally putting up GOLD EMERY for the third time, but I'm going go for it as I firmly believe this horse he on a very nice handicap mark of 110. He has been a NR on three occasions, with the ground being an issue as well as race meetings being abandoned, so fingers crossed it's third time lucky.
Like normal when I've put up a horse on previous occasions where they have been NR I won't type too much as I will be repeating myself off older threads, and the comments still apply to him running in this.
He was a decent PTP horse, who clearly stays further than the 2m 1f trip he won on, so this extra distance should be right up his street. I think it's significant that they have gotten a handicap rating after one run, as it normally takes 2 or 3 to be assessed by the handicapper. They must believe his handicap mark is on the low side and are confident that he is good enough to race in a Class 3 (0-125). As a result of him racing at this level, he races off a decent weight of 10st 13lbs, which sees six horses running off heavier weights. Though the form doesn't look great from his sole hurdles run, I thought it was a very encouraging start to his career with Donald McCain and probably did it better than the winning distance would suggest.

I am fairly confident that this race is between the Lucinda Russell pair, it will be my luck to pick the wrong one, but I am siding with DESTINY IS ALL.
This horse beat a previous selection of mine at Kelso, and I thought he won quite nicely in the end so to see him hit with only a 3lb rise in the weights is fairly surprising and that looks like a handicap mark which looks exploitable.
He won by 7.5L and was going away at the finish at Kelso and looked like a horse who is firmly on the up. The same comments can be applied to his stablemate Return Fire, but I think in the long run the form of Destiny Is All will work out better, as I am confident that the runner-up (Tfou) who was my selection that day, is on a good handicap mark and will be winning a race in the not so distant future.
Any further rain which falls will be in the favour of Destiny Is All, as he seems to handle soft conditions better than any other type of ground, so hopefully, they get a decent amount of rain up in Ayr.

u put up LILKIAN when a NR, runs in 10 mins, not really any price but if you can get 5s i guess an EW shot to nothing.
I’ve only just seen this, he was running over 6f. When I tipped him up he was running over 5f which is more of his trip these days I think. I saw that he weakened in the final furlong again.
